   I have seen Dr Copp at GP-Plus for several years now and have always received excellent medical care when visiting. He takes the time to listen carefully and clearly explain things. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a private GP.

   Been regular to GP plus. always professional and caring. If the NHS fails you see Peter Copp as an expert in the field. The receptionists are amazing and answer any questions. They are not miracle workers but they r there for you.

   I was shocked to find contained in a book of "art" in reception a full frontal naked photo of a pre-pubescent girl posing in a chair with her leg up and genitals fully visible. Dr Peter Copp sent me a frankly unhinged 2-page tirade when I emailed to politely suggest they reconsider their materials. I reported the matter to the GMC in October 2022 due to 1) the nature of the material in question and; 2) the astonishing and deeply concerning response I received. The GMC's decision 25/1/23 is that Dr Copp's response to me was "aggressive", "confrontational", "inappropriate", "dismissive", lacking in "empathy" and "raises some concerns" They are referring Dr Copp to his local "Responsible Officer" ie supervising doctor.

   Worst experience ever! A complete scam! Went for a skin problem and the doctor said she would refer me to the private hospital. I agreed to it thinking I would get an appointment more quickly if a GP phones. But in fact, I was charged an extra 200£ (On top of the 180£ for the consultation) by GP+ for picking up the phone and taking an appointment with Tje Spire hospital In March 2023! I could have phoned myself and made the exact same arrangement. I then sent an email to the GP to complain about this matter and the reply I received was unbelievably condescending. This is a complete disgrace and I discourage anybody to visit GP + Dundas Street in Edinbugh.

   My family have been seeing Dr Copp for many years. He is a true medical expert, he listens, he doesn’t cut corners and he treats you with the utmost respect. He is the absolute best private GP in Scotland.
