I've gotten accused of purposely spilling something on my school shirt so I could wear my own clothes and I'm quite disappointed excepted better
Some of the teacher are disgraceful shout at kid make up lie always make the kid out to be the bad one speak to kid like there nothing
I was an "inmate" between 1988 and 1994. Not the happiest years of my life to be honest, but that was nothing to do with the school itself, the teachers of the day were fantastic and looking back on it put up with an awful lot back then. I was an early-ish pupil of the "New Academy" after it opened in 1986, and the building hasn't aged very well and looks awfully dated (who thought it was a good idea to paint it purple in the first place?) sad to see a lot of the late Jim Dalziel's reforms have been reversed and the stuffy old blazers, gold ties are back. But maybe I'm just an old sentimentalist.....
School basically lets any type of scum in, don't send your kids there. Some teachers are brilliant I'll admit. They shouldn't be at this school. It might have used to be one of the best in the east end. But it's definitely not now
