I attended a Screen Acting course with Becky and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It deepened my understanding of some of the Meisner techniques, as well as really helping to develop my skills in script analysis. It was really cool to get to work remotely with actors from all around the globe and despite being online, the classes still felt very intimate. Becky is honest and encouraging in her approach to teaching. I feel that I can always fully trust her feedback. In each class, Becky gave space for reflection and appraisal which was very beneficial for my learning. It always feels that Becky is rooting for you and knows just the right amount to push you in her classes. I found that I’ve even started to transfer what I’ve learned about acting from this class into daily life. I have started using the techniques from the class when my internal chatter starts to get loud or I start feel insecure. It has helped to ease anxiety and quiet my inner critic! So the sessions have been a fabulous acting class and therapy session wrapped in one!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Becky's classes; she made me more confident to walk into an audition room and to be in front of a camera. She also allowed me to know myself better, as an artist and a performer. She is an incredible support and teacher in all the classes that she teaches, and a brilliant director.

As an actor from a theatre background transitioning to being in front of the screen, Becky was instrumental in aiding me to expand upon my existing skills. Her method of teaching is based on both her own experience and what she has learned through her own studying - I was particularly impressed that she participates in acting workshops, despite being a director, in order to learn more for her students. I really took away an enlightened and objective sense of who I am as a person and how embracing this can change my acting for the better through simply (or not so simply) 'being in the moment'. I also enjoyed the lessons in script deconstruction, audition technique and learning from watching yourself and others perform. I must say that this workshop propelled me into seeking to know more about the Meisner technique in particular and how to apply it to the roles I play. I could not recommend Becky's classes enough and I look forward to attending more of them in the future!”

I decided to try one class after finding out about Becky’s workshops through social media. After that, I knew I wanted to pursue her courses further. I took the intensive weekend screen acting foundation course which taught me so much about both screen acting as a discipline and also about the business — from audition etiquette and script choices, to varied on-camera techniques, script interpretation and understanding how to keep dialogue fresh and spontaneous through listening in the moment and character choices. Becky’s teaching methods are both extremely experienced and completely relatable, with a fun and casual atmosphere which allows a group to share humour and trust. A no-nonsense guide to real-world expectations which prepare you for the profession.

Becky delivers great sessions that allow you to find your natural performance and feel comfortable in doing so. You get lots of time in front of the camera and just as much time to watch yourself back and observe your work. I particularly enjoyed the discussions you have with Becky and the small group of peers when observing the work. Becky puts everyone at ease which is why I couldn't wait to return for each session week after week.
