Fantastic dance school for all ages. My daughters go and have a great time learning, hip hop, ballet, tap and modern (Other dances styles are taught including highland). With an end of year show spectacular to rival professional productions I would thoroughly recommend Elma's Performing Arts School for anybody.

Fantastic dance school for pupils of all ages. I was a dancer at Elma Whyte Performing Arts for 20 years now and had the best experience learning ballet, tap, modern and jazz. The teachers are amazing so friendly, welcoming and dedicated to getting the best out of every pupil. With dancers going on to big things the pupils have role models to aspire to. Having exams each year has allowed me to develop as a dancer but also to gain necessary life skills. Not to mention the end of year Dance Date show, with never ending glitter, sequins and fun it is a fantastic event and showcase of the pupils hard work. I couldn't recommend a better dance school to learn from the best and make life long friends.

As a pupil of the Elma Whyte School of Dancing for 17 years I can safely say that it is truly one of the best. The tuition is of the highest calibre. Pupils are taught by outstanding teachers who have had careers in the world of dance as well as former students of the school. Not only were we taught to dance but we were taught professionalism, discipline and brilliant performance skills that are clearly evident in the annual summer show. The teachers, admin staff and students are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not only do you learn a skill and talent here but you have the opportunity to meet truly wonderful people and make friends for life. Elma Whyte is more a family than a school and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Cannot recommend Elma Whyte School of dancing enough. As a pupil of 19 years I have been taught by the most supportive, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, talented, disciplined dance teachers who have enhanced my skills and confidence in a variety of styles of dancing being tap, modern, hip hop, jazz and ballet. The best years of my life meeting friends and making memories that I will have forever and it's all down to this amazing dance school community. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for classes in or out with the paisley area to trial Elma Whyte School of dancing, as I am confident you will not want to go anywhere else - we are family.

This is not an impartial review, but it is the truth.. This school began life over 50 years ago by my Mother in Law, the awesome Miss Whyte. My wife now runs the school assisted by our daughter Clara (watch this space!), and by an incredible collection of staff and volunteers who in turn are supported by a truly exceptional bunch of parents and pupils. This is not a school that has multiple sites with kids of different ages being taught in the same class on hard floors by barely qualified 'assistants'. This is a school where the children are nurtured in age appropriate and development appropriate stages all teaching supervised by Adelle (and Miss Whyte) who trained at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts College and who danced professionally in film, TV, Royal Variety Shows, Pop Videos, and Brit Awards performances. Adelle has choreographed and trained industry professionals, is in demand internationally as a lecturer and teacher, and was Cinderella for Buena Vista appearing at Disney Theme Parks and for movie premiers. She is also a gorgeous wife! We maintain the highest possible standards and enjoy quality results. We are the best, better than the rest. Come and join the family, come dance with us.

I have been involved with this dance school for over 40 years . I was taught by Elma who trained me to become a teacher. I helped teach until I had leave due to my sons football. My daughter was taught by Elma and Adele and now my granddaughters are there ! It really is the best i town and I would recommend it very highly. I am proud to have been part of this great Dancing School and has brought me many lifelong friendships.

This school has been running for 50 years and is known for training many of their pupils up to become successful professional dancers in Ballet, contemporary and Commercial dance. I highly recommend this dancing school if you want your child to learn a new skill, make new and long lasting friends and become part of the Elma Whyte School of Dancing family. This school has become a second home to me and the friends I've made here have become like family, I couldn't recommend this school more !
