   I would like to give special thanks to Sean & Kathryn. I purchased my first home and this year and despite the pressure and seriousness of getting involved with a long term mortgage, Sean & Kathryn were very supporting and provided thorough information at a manageable pace. I have Aspergers Syndrome and can find the amount of legal text very overwhelming, but they were patient and took the time to explain things and answer my questions. I would also like to thank Sean for being informal enough that it didn't feel too formal that the decision-making required by me feeling too gravitational. I know meeting in your gym stuff was accidental but compared to your colleague who was in a full suit, I found casual clothing more comforting and relatable. You knew your expertise and knew how to translate it for me to a language I understood. Thank you both :)

   10/10 experience with First Mortgage, I was able to easily make an appointment with their edinburgh branch and they walked me through each step in starting a mortgage making sure I understood as we went along, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't of been able to purchase my home. I want to give a big thank you to Ryan Byers and Sylwia Luderca, without these two i would of been lost and stressed and given up on the idea of buying a place, both speaking in an easy to understand way and was able to clear all my worries and doubts on this being possible after the first meeting. From initial info about the property to find a mortgage that is suitable and walking through my finances to help decide the length and if a mortgage is viable on my income to also helping and walking through getting the home insurance sorted for the property and even if I wanted help to get life or income insurance, they were happy to help every step of the way.

I then came back in September ready to seriously look for a property, and Michalina was an amazing advisor who was so quick to answer all my questions and get a mortgage applied for and approved. The whole process has been so much faster and smoother than I anticipated. Pauline and the rest of the team have also been great, supportive, and quick to reply to any contact I’ve made.    As a first-time buyer, I knew very little about the mortgage process, but thankfully Ryan guided me through every stage with patience and expertise. He was outstanding from start to finish! My situation was a little complex due to the structure of my income, but Ryan went above and beyond to ensure everything was properly handled and my mortgage was successfully approved. During the later stages of my application, Sylwia was equally fantastic — she kept me constantly updated and made sure I always knew what was happening. Being a first time buyer I had many questions which were answered appropriately.
