I was promised a mortgage by Mark Dyason and this went on for quite a few months. He took £400 off me then never got back in touch. I have been left with no mortgage, there was no communication apart from his useless PA Rachel Steel who said he had the wrong phone number which was not true. I have had no refund and not even an apology from this incompetent company. Be warned.
Mark Dyason is a fantastic mortgage broker. In fact I will say that he is the best I have had (and I've had a few). I know what I'm on about, too, as I work closely with brokers on a daily basis and know a fair bit about the market. Crucially, Mark and his team really look after you and always let you know what is going on. More than anything people want to be kept up to speed with developments - and Mark does that effortlessly. In a few years I intend to be moving to France and I will 100% be using Mark to arrange that mortgage, too. One last thing - don't be misled by the 'Edinburgh' bit in his company name: I'm based in London so it really doesn't matter where you are in the UK. In summary, if you're looking to remortgage or apply for a mortgage for the first time, use Mark. He'll get you the best rate (I saved £400 a month) and he'll give you the best service.
