My partner experienced appalling service from this solicitors. Later discovered that the Law Society had disciplined them for unsatisfactory professional conduct after messing about with client's funds. Pretty much tells you all you need to know about them.
Throughout the process of having my lease agreed there were various breaches of data protection, my documents and personal details were sent to the wrong email address and only when the person responded to say they weren't their client was the mistake picked up on, this held up things with getting the lease signed and an access date. The only plus point was another solicitor took over and sorted everything out in the end and got us access to the property on the date first agreed. Hopefully this is something that can be monitored closely going forward as it brought a huge amount of stress and I wouldnt like for anyone else to be in this position. I did seek legal advice from elsewhere and was continuing to do so but as we have been in lockdown and with the uncertainty of businesses going forward this would have left me more out of pocket so I feel a review is necessary to ensure others don't have this same problem.

I used them for advice regarding a breach of the Data Protection Act. They were adamant there was no breach in my case. I then sent my case to the Information Commissioner who confirmed that in my case there were multiple breaches of the Data Protection Act as I had expected. Very poor advice from the solicitor. Seemed like they had no knowledge of the relevant law whatsoever.
I have used one of the solicitors from Leonards for my new house legal work and i was very happy with the professional work carried out. Very friendly and the fixed rate set was reasonable. I will definately use this same solicitor again in the future.
