   I have just used the services of McVey and Murricane for conveyancing for the second time. The first time, I was impressed with their timeliness and excellent communication, but since then, conveyancing has become inordinately more complex. Money laundering regulations are now extensive and without a decent solicitor, the whole area is a minefield. McVey and Murricane guided me through the whole process, using clear and understandable language. I particularly like that everything is done online, so that you have every single document before you, and it is clear what is being agreed to. Towards the end of the process there were issues as to whether my purchaser would complete on time and it became a bit fraught, but Hamish Adams went the extra mile to ensure that it all went smoothly. Yet again, excellent service from McVey and Murricane. I imagine they are probably not the cheapest in town, but worth every penny to know that things are being done properly. All the staff showed unfailing friendliness and courtesy too. Thoroughly recommend.

   Efficient service from start to finish in purchasing our first home. The majority of communication was by email and uploading documents to an online app. This was so straightforward and no delays at all. The personal touch from Hamish on key day was lovely - just a quick phone call to let us know all funds had been transferred and we could collect our keys.    McVey & Murricane were recommended by my financial adviser to carry out the conveyancing work during a re-mortgage. I can highly recommend the services of this firm. Communication was clear and replies were prompt. The instructions were given at every step of the process via email where you can access an online portal to interact with McVey & Murricane, this portal was very simple to use. They phoned you if necessary to clarify any matters. Where physical documents had to be signed you are offered the choice of printing an emailed copy of the document to return via post, or if this is not an option for you the document can be requested via the post. Something I i felt was a very nice touch was how the firm highlighted important information in the documents they sent and how they used the formatting and colouring. This made the information easy to read and understand. I will be keeping McVey & Murricane in mind for any future needs
