A second house sale/purchase in the space of three years. We like old character properties so there are often quirks and complexities, but nothing is too much trouble for Andrea. Always has our back. Highly competent and responsive. Once again quite excellent service from Andrea Waddell and team. Recommending W&W to my daughter for her first purchase.

Just completed our Equity Release Journey with Weaver and Waddell. Andrea Waddell and her colleague Ainsley have been extremely helpful during the whole process. It was so good to be able to deal with a Local Solicitor and cannot recommend them highly enough

I had the worst experience ever with this firm of solicitors who were recommended by the estate agents who were selling my late mums flat. We live five hours away and so need a firm who we could depend up to work hard for us . They were awful right from the start. Altogether they sent out five documents to myself and my brother with our names incorrectly spelt. Not only that , they had my mums name spelt wrong too. It was distressing enough to be dealing with my late mums estate without having to ring them to advise they had made yet another error and were to resend the documents. Unfortunately mum passed away in the house selling process which complicated matters , however as we had to make the trip to Glasgow for the funeral I asked if there was any paperwork that needed signing as after this I would not be returning to Glasgow. I was told no, however two weeks later I was told I had to come up to sign papers. This cost £80. I set off from my home at 6 am to catch three trains in order that I would make my appointment with one of the directors at 2pm. She turned up 15 minutes late. I was furious. Even then, some of the paperwork was wrong that she presented me with and had to be re- done as I was there. It was all so sloppy. On the day of completion the same director actually shouted at me and spoke to me in such a manner she reduced me to tears as I had phoned up to confirm my banking details. She just stopped short of swearing at me but her manner was absolutely disgusting and I can honestly say I have never been spoken to like this ever before by a so called professional person . To give this firm a one star is being generous. Do not touch them with a barge pole !

We had Andrea do some legal work and a house purchase for us previously, when she worked elsewhere, so were delighted to hear that she was now set up in her own legal practice. We had no hesitation in contacting Weaver & Waddell with instructions to update our wills and are extremely happy with the result. This is a law firm that advises, represents and supports customers with integrity and respect.

I used Weaver & Waddell to sell my property a few months back. I was a little stressed about it as I was living out of the country but they took care of everything and kept me updated every step of the way. Andrea was always there to assist and made everything run smoothly. I would highly recommend this firm.

Used Weaver and Waddell Solicitors for Conveyancing. As a first time buyer, I wasn't familiar with the conveyancing process. Andrea and the team was very helpful in explaining the complete process clearly and provided updates on every step during the process. Great Service, Highly recommend.

Andrea was super helpful especially as a first time buyer! Unfortunately I was unable to use her as I found a shared equity property which needed a solicitor linked to the estate agents. If I hadn’t have found this property then I would have used Andrea for the whole process and I have no doubt she would have continued her good work and support. Would recommend especially for first time buyers!
