   My experience dealing with Archibald Sharp Solicitors (who acted for the buyer of my property) was extremely disappointing. Their lack of efficiency and attention to basic procedures caused a week’s delay in completing the sale. Key checks, such as anti–money laundering, were not carried out until after the original completion date, and the missives were not signed until the very day of completion. On that same day, they were largely uncontactable, which added unnecessary stress and uncertainty. The formal offer on my property also took nearly a week to be submitted, despite both the buyer and the estate agent chasing them. The sale eventually went through at 4:55 p.m. on a Friday — a full week later than planned — entirely due to these avoidable delays. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Archibald Sharp if you want your sale to proceed smoothly or on time.

   We need information regarding a trust this company has set up urgently, and after chasing this up a week after they received confirmation and receipt of our request, I was unfortunately greeted by the most obnoxious and rude "assistant" who went out of her way to be as unhelpful as possible.
