   1 star only because it wont let me give zero Booked a taxi earlier about 00:40 am on 26-12-25 car arrived as per app with driver Muhammed in a white Octavia looked out to see he was there as app said he just arrived and watched him drive away seconds after the app said he arrived Thanks penny cabs yet AGAIN for leaving us stranded last time we will use you not that they even care about the mass of negative reviews or they would reply or contact to see how they could improve. We stay Right next to there offices and id rather call a glasgow taxi at least they are reliable.

   Previously a really good company, not what sure has happened in recent times though as they seem to have gone downhill. Book taxis and they dont appear, leaving people like my vulnerable Mum who is 74 late for appointments.

   Absolute nightmare, so unreliable and unprofessional, take any other taxi firm. Cancelled bookings, no answer from telephone, why don't they realise that if people want a taxi, they need a taxi, just cancelling booking and leaving you hanging is shocking, not to be trusted. I phoned them, from another taxi home, and the "customer service rep" was unbelievably rude, refused to answer any of my questions, and was quite aggressive, staggering behaviour, refused to give me her name and refused to let me speak to in her words "management", then hung up, avoid this taxi company, not good enough.

   My son left his phone in a taxi on Saturday night. Janaid the driver found this phone and went out of his way to bring it back to us the next day. The girls in the office were also very helpful , saving lots of inconvenience. Fantastic service

   I am an assessor in a transport company and today I had a trainee, on the road that connects the M74 and A725, the driver of a blue Skoda SH 25 at the beginning of the registration stopped suddenly in the middle of the road, creating a serious danger in traffic,, after pulling over, the road will overtake me, showing the middle finger in my direction... lack of professionalism

   I use this firm everyday they charged him 4 10 pence when its usually 3 pound that driver took 4 20 that made him short for his lunch for today thanks penny cars

   I would normally give a five star but this experience was a learning about how dishonest a person can be… I booked a trip from BMW Hamilton through the app and all went as usual till the time my app showed that the driver has arrived. But my app was showing that he was far away from the point of me( my phone location ) I am sure as I can see the car in my app so do the driver can see my location on his app. On calling he appeared out of a side road 500 mts away. Now I understand why the car went inside a side road for 2min making me wait in the freezing temp to charge me “waiting charges”….. I have no complaints towards Penny Cars, they can hardly police attitude of any driver’s. But again I never came across such an incident in last 15 years with Penny cars so thought of sharing this. Hope me or any members of public don’t have to come across this kind of experience again.

   I have just been picked up by hughie who drives a 65 plate green vauxhall from 9 torriden Court kirkwood & his car smelt amazing he didn't have an issue with My wee shi tsu Tyson.. he was extra polite very considerate & I found him to be extremely polite and very honest & courteous.. wat a total gentleman this man is... we both shared similar things...I may have had a few babychamps but this total gent listened to me..he was very attentive and sympathetic... if my young stunning blonde wife was looking down tonite she would be proud of you hughie son.x 5 star top drawer.x

   Called for a taxi to be told 10mins wait, still waiting 50mins later with no sign of taxi and now missed appointment. Why continue to take bookings when you can't fulfill them! Awful service.only given 1 star as can't give none.

   I regularly use Penny Cars and I've had many different experiences, some of which have been better than others. Though tonight's taxi kinda pushed me over. As said before, I regularly get taxis and my taxi at 8.30pm has never been so expensive. Usually for my fair home between 8-9pm it's only around £5.40 but this evening the driver started his meter at £3.50 rather than the usual £3. Other drivers have previously made me aware that the meters shouldn't go up until 9pm or 10pm. As well as that we got stopped at traffic lights for about two minutes and every 20 seconds or so, the meter would go up 20p. To top it all off I was charged for paying by card. Some drivers charge nothing, 10p is fine but 20-30p is a bit rubbish when you've just gotten off a shift. So in total I paid £6.60 for a taxi rather than my usual £5.40. I understand people need to pay their bills and stuff but cutting corners to take more money off customers won't help you in the long run. If anything customers will only end up looking elsewhere.
