    Consistently terrible. Few good drivers, but 99% of the time have a bad experience. Today I booked through the app, put a note for the driver that I wanted to pay card (you can pay directly through the app with your card but this doesn’t work for me anymore even though it used to) taxi came all was well then halfway through the journey the driver asked if I could pay cash, I said no, apologised and again said I wanted to pay card (despite the fact he already knew that) the driver then tried to coax me into paying card with various excuses that the machine doesn’t always work etc and even suggest cash machines near my destination that he could stop at. Wasn’t taking no for an answer so had to just say I didn’t have my card to get him to stop hounding me for it. Lo and behold, card machine worked fine no issues. Not the first time this has happened, hence why I put in the notes I’m paying with card but clearly hasn’t worked. Previously had another issue with them where I got in a taxi at the rank in Falkirk and the taxi smelled heavily of urine, no acknowledgement or apology from the driver and I spent most of the journey with my head out the window trying not to be sick. Refuse to believe driver couldn’t smell it either it was that bad. Used the contact us section on the site to ask for their complaints policy and where was best to send it, got a reply really quickly saying send it here, sent complaint back and received another quick reply saying the driver had finished for the night but they would look into this in the morning. Never heard back, waited two weeks to give them plenty time before emailing again and that second email was sent a few weeks ago and I’ve still not got a response! These are just recent too, I could keep going but I think this paints a picture of what your experience will most likely look like when booking with express.

    Absolute joke. Been told it's gonna be within 10mins, after 30mins I called them and asked where's the driver, suddenly they said they have no drivers and haven't sent one even tho I got told it's gonna be within 10mins, absolute disgrace of a business, better use other taxi services as this one isn't reliable and may only cause you troubles...

    Before I go any further, I've never had an issue with any of the drivers, they're all lovely. The people on the other end of the phone however, lack logic... 1am week night arrived in at falkirk high station, phoned to ask for a taxi and was told there was none, I explained I'm alone, 21 year old female and I would really appreciate if they could get a taxi up to me whenever possible and was told they would not be sending one to the station. My mum had to phone a taxi to the house to get in it to ask the driver to come and collect me, driver was as confused as we were. Tonight I've phoned express taxis to the station for 2 cars was told it would be an hours wait, called back and asked for 2 cars to the woodside inn (less than 0.5 miles down the road) arrived within 10 minutes.... where's the logic?

    Our taxis were also cancelled w/o warning me and a friend were left out and had to walk to the train station beyond drunk! We were fine but that isn't the point, you Try and go out safely, but the taxis are the ones to let you down?

    Friends of mine booked two taxis around 18.30, Saturday 3rd Dec to go from Linlithgow Station to Bo'ness. Both taxis were cancelled without any notification, they weren't told until they called back. An absolute disgrace, they ended up late for a show they had booked despite arriving in Linlithgow in plenty of time. Shameful way to treat customers. Will never use or recommend again.

    Friend left phone in taxi .only found this out when I called,was told phone would be dropped off (was easier to drop to me than at friends due to distance) When taxi driver phoned he then told me he was going to meter it and I would be charged. I said I wasn’t prepared to do this and was told” well it’s company policy and other people don’t have a problem with it” I asked if I could simply pick it up at their office(I know plenty of people who have left stuff in taxis and other companies have been perfectly happy to do this) but was told this was not allowed so,as a compromise ,it was agreed I could pick it up from the police station . I feel this policy is extremely immoral as a lot of custom will be from people who are drinking and can’t drive therefore they are essentially being charged twice .
