Left a woman sitting alone at a train station at 1am for over 35 minutes waiting for a taxi booked hours in advance because they were picking up extra fares on the way (phoned 3 times getting told made up times it would arrive). Nice and safe. Absolute joke
Worst taxi company ever never have a taxi
Couldn’t find my house then asked if I was sure I lived on the road I requested a pick up from. The driver sped through residential areas and was swearing and huffing at roadworks, traffic lights and whatever else made him have to use his brakes. They only deserve 1 star because of the prompt pickup after calling. Will never use again.
Just sat on the phone to a crying friend twice this evening! Firstly she was stranded alone and cold in a vulnerable area, so after she book a taxi with this company, she managed to get a better offer to keep her safe by a friend, and when phoning up to cancel with the driver he absolutely berated her! I can understand it’s their livelihood and it’s frustrating, but considering the circumstances that she tried to explain and was going to offer to still pay he just kept going at her, disgusting attitude. I’m just happy she didn’t actually need to get into a taxi with this man and judging by the reviews a lot of people should stay away
Rudest people in the world they will hang up multiple times when you try to call them
After 20min+ waiting for a taxi that should have picked us up within 15 minutes, we are told that they cannot remember our booking and we have to wait for another 15 minutes... No apology or explanation. We could have taken two taxis in the meantime. We will not be using you again.
We have used Lenzie Taxis a lot & after tonight unfortunately we won't be using again. We stay right on the borders of North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire (about a 5 minute drive from Lenzie) got off the train at Croy Train Station and was told we couldn't get a taxi home because it was "outwith our area" according to your receptionist Jane. My husband and I both called and were told the same information, but we were both told to call Central Cars in Cumbernauld to get home which I found strange as it was telling us to call a potentially rival company to yourselves. You have lost 2 Customers due to Jane's "advice'.
The taxi Driver was fantastic, however never have I been faced with such poor customer service presented by the operator/phone handler. The operator was Very rude and cheeky and I am unimpressed. I don’t recommend. Would have preferred to call the taxi driver directly.
Not impressed by this Company. Rude operators, never enough taxi's and suggest you use Briggs Taxi's which is what I do now and they can cover the Lenzie area with some forward planning. Avoid at all cost!
