Never have I seen a HGV being operated in this manner before. I followed an eight-wheel, loaded aggregate lorry today from Inverinate to Spean Bridge. The driver caught the ditch twice and spewed mud all over the road, almost losing control of his vehicle. He was also driving on the wrong side of the carriageway, cutting corners and causing oncoming drivers to veer off the road, onto the grass, to avoid him. His rear numberplate was covered in mud so illegible, but I do have the footage on my dashcam. Being a HGV driver myself, I decided to pull into a layby to let this Yuill & Dodds driver get as far away from me as possible. Totally dangerous. Totally inept. Totally clueless. Where do you get your drivers from? I use the term 'drivers' in the loosest possible way. Unbelievable. I'm submitting my dashcam footage to the police.

Rang the company as the driver of SN23ZLY was blocking the outside lane of the M62 on Monday 3rd March 2025 well before the traffic legally needed to merge. Driver moved shortly afterwards.

Company with absolutely zero morals. Best avoided. Drivers also think they're a cut above. They're not.

Scotland remembers Yuill & Dodds lorryβs from the miners strikes. 38 years later Yuill & Dodds lorryβs are driving through CWU picket lines in Scotland as they did in the 1980βs. Scabs profiteering off the misery of the many.

Company broke picket lines during the miners strike 38 years ago and do it today during the postal strikes. The Company for Scabs

Company clearly doesn't enforce any kind of due diligence. 3 of their drivers seem to think it's funny to race 3 massive HGVs across Hull, nearly crashing into dozens of motorists and running several red lights. I hope they get caught and suspended by the police.

On Tuesday 15th September 2002, I was tailgated by one of your drivers on the road from Dumbarton to Cardross. The road was quite busy, and for that reason the road speed was between 40 & 50 mph. This guy was often less than two car lengths behind me, and on one occasion I thought he was going to collide with my car. The registration of the lorry was SJ 18 UEW. I hope the transport manager will see fit to discipline him. This is not the first time I have had to complain about Yuill and Dodds drivers, during the miners' strike, I was forced off the A737 between Beith and Dalry by one of their trucks which came round a bend completely on the wrong side of the road, driving like a Jehu, presumably on piece work. When will these cowboys learn?

Just want to alert everyone to a very frightening experience I had when one of these lorries tried to push my car off the road yesterday. I was driving alone along the M8 Eastbound when I encountered a Yuill & Dodds lorry driving in the lane next to me. Without warning and whilst I was side by side with the lorry the driver indicated to come over to my lane, even though he must have saw me there. I had to swerve into the next lane to avoid being crushed by the lorry - luckily the road was quiet and there was no other cars in that lane. I then overtook the lorry and indicated to return to the inside lane to exit the motorway. To my horror, the lorry followed me and again tried to push into the lane I was in, narrowly missing my car again. Please be careful of these drivers who, I now understand from talking to others, have a bad reputation for this type of behaviour. The management of this company really need to look at this as people are going to get hurt!!! Please stop employing these knuckle dragging psychopaths!!!
