Great customer service from Cameron. When we got cut off I thought that was going to be it but he took the time to call me back. Cameron tracked my parcel, called the driver and established exactly what the story was before calling me back a second time and talking me through the options. DPD - take a lesson from M&H Carriers, this is how customer service is done properly...
Edited:- after my 1 star review M&H contacted me and fixed my complaint and after that I can confirm the service was 5 Star!! Thank you for going the extra mile!! APC Couriers gave my parcel to M&H to deliver to me. They tried to deliver but send me an email to say there was nobody home. I contacted M&H and spoke to the guy and said that the parcel had my old address on it and would he please deliver to my new address of which he said he would. The next day he dropped my parcel off at my old address and just left it there in the Main Street. I phone back and nobody knew who I spoke to and according to the nobody want to take the blame. Now I spoke to him and he said he would deliver to new address so why drop it off at the old address? Did he forget to notify the driver? That was £54 I lost because of somebody’s lack of accountability!!
My order was passed from DX to M&H without any notification to me. I was initially informed by seller that I would receive delivery within 2 working days of purchase date 4/4/24 as i had paid for this. They confirmed DX was the carrier. I only found out today after numerous phone calls and emails that M&H now had my items. I called them as I did not even have a tracking number, which they gave me. The male I spoke to promised 100% that my delivery was on its way today. I checked the tracking number which showed the last action as at Basildon awaiting dispatch. I rang M&H again about 4:45pm, and spoke to a female who said the driver may have not update the tracker(??), and there was a "good chance" I would still receive it as 3 delivery vehicles were still in my area. I asked if she could phone and confirm one of the drivers had my items. Her reply was she couldn't phone them "at this time of the day". I guess their mobiles become inoperative at "this time of the day". No delivery now until at least Monday, which will be 7 working days total, if it arrives when I paid for delivery in 2 working days. Not happy.
Pick-up point
Delivery was days late. Driver just dumped kegs outside. All driver had to do to be helpfull was reverse 50 meters up the street to where they were ment to go.No help. Refused to take the emptys back that it states on paperwork he should. Spoken with management who has apologised.
Great service from Thomas & John today. They took great care in getting my new sofa into my living room and helping me arrange it just how I wanted it. Highly recommend!
Quick turn around, no messing about.
