   Not long moved to Bath and didn’t know any garages. I recently had a number of errors come up on my VW golf which meant it couldn’t pass an MOT. The team at Larkhall Garage managed to fit me in even though they were super busy. Sorted the issue quickly, then provided an MOT as well. Got me back up and running. Great service, would highly recommend, thank you again!!

   Took my car in as it was using so much oil I started doubting whether I was reading the dipstick right. Performed a quick inspection, added the oil for me, gave me some tips, helpfully answered all my questions, and only charged for the jug of oil that I purchased from them. Friendly, honest people, would recommend. Thanks a lot!

   Disappointing experience overall. Tried using the local community but it didn’t work for us. Our 2012 car wouldn’t turn on, so we asked the team to take a look (we live 300mts from the garage). They came down and diagnosed a faulty immobilizer but couldn’t tow the car as it was close to New Year. We towed the car with our insurance and left it with them…and that’s when the saga started. We didn’t hear a word for the 1st week so we called, and they’ve already sent the faulty dash to be repaired; for the next 4 weeks we received no updates or information, except when we called or visited. As it turned out the immobilizer was NOT the problem, and they had to send the car to the electrician (without our consent) to check for issues. The culprit was the key switch/drum, an £80 part easily replaceable (which we told them on day 1 that was playing up)…but they insisted on the immobilizer route, causing all this unnecessary chaos. They kept the car for over 6 weeks, from New Year to mid Feb, provided no updates or follow-ups, subcontracted specialists without consent, returned the car looking like a pit (disgraceful) and didn’t even acknowledge their faults or apologized for leaving us 6 weeks without a vehicle...so overall, using the local community didn’t work for us. We should’ve taken it to Allen Ford and the problem would’ve been sorted in a few days. I won’t share with you how much we were charged, but it was outrageous…and it was only to cover their lack of knowledge. If you’ve got a faulty battery, this is the garage to use…for anything slightly trickier, stay away! This was truly the most unprofessional, passive, uninformed, overpriced and negative experience with any garage we’ve had and we won’t be repeating the mistake…

   I live and work in Salisbury and my rear suspension ring broke on the Sunday evening whilst I was visiting a friend in Bath. Called this garage and they fitted me in straight away. Job was done in less than three hours. Absolutely brilliant service. Recommended this gang totally. Very reasonable price too.

   These guys went above and beyond my expectations! I've recently moved to the area and the clutch went in my car, I phoned round a few different garages to get an idea of price & time frame as it's nearing Christmas. I decided to go for Larkhall Motors as they were the only garage who could give me a rough quote and time, the guy I spoke to on the phone was super helpful. I was given a rough time 2-3weeks, *hopefully* before Christmas. I dropped my car in on Friday night and they rung me Monday lunchtime to say it was done. Completely unexpected! They also fixed another problem that was wrong it which would have eventually needed looking at, so that also saved me problems in the future! And the price wasn't an utter shock either. So very impressed with this garage! Have already been singing their praises to my friends and family that live in Bath. 100% will be using again!
