This fills me with a sense of dread. DPD Cumbernauld lost one parcel turned up supposedly delivered on the wrong island in Antrim. 3 weeks to wait for the next parcel which they chose to deliver on the wrong day. Now they have sent my personally rescheduled internet hub back to Three. Just don't care. How long will I be without internet.
Absolute joke, apperently when loading vans they cant read when something says box 1 of 2, i now have a few chunks of wood and a chunk of glass of what was supposed to be a new piece of furniture i planned to have built before my daughter comes home, but the second parcels druver decided he wasnt wanting to come into a flat so never rang my buzzer and took a picture from his driver seat of the outside of the block of flats. Then get message will be redelivered the next day to wake up to a message saying monday instead...not to mention the stress of trying to reach an actual human being, instead when you phone you get stuck on am automation loop, absolutely ridiculous
90% of my order was delivered with one parcel not being delivered due to “error in my area” nice one. Package is lost at DPD depot. Some chancer has probably stolen it as a Xmas present.
A complete mess. First, nobody in to deliver the parcel to, (Lie). Second try, couldn't find the address (how come 1st delivery nobody in). Then after phoning they came up with so many excuses, New house, (NO). They say, picture where should have been delivered, (flats with stairs, NO, it's a bungalow). They say completly wrong address on parcel and blame Post Office. (wrong, we send parcels regulary). No call cards put through door. Now they say Post Office will phone today, which we know they won't because its a Sunday before a Bank Holiday. How did they win this contract to deliver parcels anywhere, when this happens. I'VE ONLY GIVEN 1 STAR TO LEAVE REVIEW - OTHERWISE 0.
The lamest delivery service I have ever received, along with the lamest customer service. They never took responsibility for a perishable parcel, and delivered it when the contents had already gone off. Nobody took responsibility, no supervisor, no manager, no attempt to contact the driver to make this delivery a priority and be the forst drop ln their route (and I live 5 minutes away from the depot). DPD should seriously consider how they treat their customers and their parcels as well
Waited in for a parcel all day. They said they delivered it and showed a photograph of some other house door which was nothing like my door, or any other in the area. Sick and tired of this rip off service. I will never knowingly use them again!
Was told my parcel would be delivered on Friday. Now Saturday evening and been told I am not getting it until tomorrow, Sunday 18th Dec. My parcel has been in Cumbernauld since Friday. Is the reason I am not getting it the fact that a driver was paid off on Friday.
If I could rate lower I would, there is not a single order that I don’t have an issue with. I pay more to get items quicker and they end up just not delivering when the drivers shift finishes at 17:00. The people / logistics team in charge of routes should be sacked. I watch the map frustratedly seeing the driver pass my street several times only for them to clock off when they inevitably can’t make all their deliveries. What’s worse is the DPD helpline just lie through their teeth to get you off the phone until nothing can be done. I put in complaint after complaint each and every time and nothing gets done about it. Every time I order I specifically ask vendors to avoid sending my stuff through DPD because it’s not worth it, this depot is a health hazard for people with high blood pressure they are THAT bad.
Only gave one star as unable to give Zero. The level of incompetence is staggering, I have spoken to five people now, each assuring me my parcel will be delivered, I’ve provided alternatives to ensure delivery and I’m still waiting! Seriously, get yourself a pigeon, tie your parcel to its leg, throw it out in a thunderstorm and you’ll still have a better chance of getting your parcel to its destination than DPD. I’m more than happy to share names, days/ times of calls and tracking numbers should anyone at DPD doubt the validity of my review.
The driver attempted to deliver my parcel twice while I wasn't in. And instead of using two alternative options I provided in advance (safe place and my neighbor) the parcel wasn't delivered at all and I recieved a message "we missed you". So now the driver is going to come to my place for the third time. I am impressed by this such an efficient way to deliver parcels, DPD: coming three times instead of one.
