   I called Ryan's garage late yesterday afternoon after having a puncture. Tried a few garages but nobody was interested in helping. Called Ryan's garage, spoke to Ryan he acted immediately as he didn't wanted to leave me stranded so late in the day. He followed me slowly back to the garage to ensure my safety (impressed by that). I cannot fault how good the service was.

   Hi Ryan, I am unsure as to why my last review didn’t show under my google account, Mt friend must’ve been signed in on my device previously (the review under Brian) As I mentioned previously, the front tyres were in an awful state and I don’t question your opinion of it being unsafe to drive so well done to your mechanic for being able to recognise that. Bleeding the brakes did sort the brake pedal problem and I thank you for sorting that issue but to be quoted £700 odd for the rest of the work is daylight Robert. Since visiting your garage, all I have had done to the car was replace the two front tires. My car went in for an MOT today and it passed with only a couple of advisories. I find it unprofessional how you respond to some of the reviews on here as clearly your garage has got a problem at trying to over charge people and create work when it is not necessary. I understand the cost of living and times being hard, but trying to fool car owners and conning them into doing extra work is not the best way to go about it. I am sure you have very capable mechanics that work for you and I am sure they are great at their job. Seeing as I am one of many negative reviews on here regarding your garage over charging and extorting people, it might just be a problem with management. Instead of reacting like a little toddler to negative reviews on here and throwing your toys out the pram, I suggest you start focusing on providing a more reasonable service if you want to compete with the other garages in the area. Thanks again for bleeding the brakes!

   Took my car to Ryan’s Garage as had an issue with my brakes. I was shocked when I had a phone call saying that it would cost £700 to fix it. They told me I needed 4 new brake disks, new set of brake pads on every wheel, brake fluid drained and two new front tyres. Credit where credit is due, I definitely did need new tyres so had no issue with that. The issue came when I took the car to a different garage and they said that there was nothing wrong with the brake system or the brakes, the brakes just needed bleeding. Find it disgraceful how garages such as this one can try have one over on you and create work where no work is necessary. Only reason I gave it a star is there wasn’t an option to put no star. Avoid this place at all costs!

   Booked an MOT/service here about 6 weeks ago for this morning. On arrival I was informed that the rolling road had been out of use since the previous week which meant they were unable to carry out MOT's. Asking why they hadn't had the courtesy to inform me of this I was told I should have received a call last Friday and if not I might have missed the call..! Not true. With not even the merest hint of an apology or honest explanation even after informing them I had specifically taken a day off work I left to try and sort out an alternative MOT which expires shortly.

   Goddam awful place, would give zero or minus stars if i could! I went in for an air-con recharge and they somehow managed to turn off my fans altogether on their laptop and then blamed my car. Then they charged me £200 for an auto-electrician to say he couldn't find the fault and it MAY be my switch. I bought a new switch and it was exactly the same as i expected. I nearly had to buy a new car as I couldn't use the fans/demister or anything but luckily, I took it to an ex- Renault technician near Weston-super-Mare (which cost me another £100) who told me that Ryan's Garage had gone into part of my car's electronics which should not be entered and had ticked my car as being climate-controlled, when it's not, it's manually controlled, so the car's brains had shut it all down. So, now I'm £350 out of pocket and I've still got no aircon as it all leaked out. So much for their pressure test then too. Definitely not recommended to anyone whatsoever!

   Last twice have had screw in tyre Ryan’s have fitted me in at short notice on a Saturday: once to do a plug and today (when it couldn’t be plugged) they quickly put the spare on while we sourced replacement options. Super friendly, helpful and whole team very polite. Massive thanks for Joe and the team from us

   So far so good. Nice friendly chap at reception. Used this garage a few times now. There was a mix up with an appointment date for my first visit a year ago, but the manager or owner didnt waste a minute and made sure that I got my car serviced all the same which was much appreciated.

   We moved to the area a while ago and needed to find a new garage. They serviced and mot'd my car and were extremely professional and thorough . They gave me a detailed report on the work needing to be done and phoned me with a price breakdown before going ahead. The owner and his team are really friendly and helpful and I will certainly carry on using Ryan's Garage.
