Marco is the kind of music teacher that wants whats best for you. In the first lesson I was asked what I wanted to achieve with these lessons and I am taught based off that. Any questions I have are answered. He teaches you so you know your instrument like the back of your hand, its not about relying on chord shapes that already exist, its about learning to be able to find and create the exact sound you wish to achieve. It is truly fascinating. Marco is passionate about it himself and it shows in his teaching. He gives advice and things to work on until the next lesson. Marco is a proffesional at what he does and he teaches what he knows to his students.

I had the privilege of being a student of Marco’s in 2023, as apart of an artist development course. Marco is truly a great mentor, and a wonderful musician. He has such a deep, insightful understanding of music, and I would absolutely recommend both him, and his teaching!! :)

I cannot rate Marco highly enough. I studied for a year with him and the confidence, knowledge and self-belief I came away with really surprised me. Marco is an extremely knowledgable, talented and passionate artist, who genuinely wants his students to succeed in their goals and careers. He is patient, understanding, respectful and a friend to all. No matter if you’re a beginner, or if you are more advanced, there is always something to learn and Marco really helps to ensure that you are feeling challenged enough, but that you still feel comfortable and confident. If you are passionate about music, wanting to try something new or fancy broadening your knowledge, then you really have found the right place to go.

I recently completed Marco's Artist Development course at Blackheath Conservatoire. When I signed up for it I had very little idea what it was going to entail, only that it looked interesting. And, my goodness, it was money well spent! Marco is a great teacher; he worked us hard, and threw us headlong into music theory, into the philosophy of performance, into self-reflection, and into practical musical exercises, all the while fostering a fun and supportive atmosphere. My fellow students and I are already badgering him for a follow-up course!

Well when it comes to saying something about Marco, I'm truly lost for words, no language can express the gratitude I feel for having his as a mentor/friend in the Artist Development course. Long story short - if you're an Artist, aspiring to reach higher, Please don't think twice, just do the course with Marco - give this gift to yourself - you deserve this! When I met Marco - I was pretty much lost. I knew what I could do but had no specific direction, I didn't own my art. Marco genuinely teaches you how to depend on you for creating, not others. One of the greatest gift as a teacher is having patience, even when I made so many mistakes on guitar, and my improvement was like speed of a snail, Marco was always supportive and welcomed making mistakes because that's how you learn! He always makes sure that YOU shine through in your art. If you ever ask him a question - he's give such a precise and focussed answer that it'll clear all your doubts like water! At the same time he'll introduce you to concepts that if you explored, you'll gain depth in your art and really own it! When working on songwriting, he has endless ideas on what to do next with your song, at the same time he encourages you to do what you feel is right! I can't thank Marco enough for his contribution and generosity. I can go on and on but you get the point! Your future self will thank you for taking up Marco as your Mentor! All the best Love Nitin

Marco, without a doubt, is a master of his craft and learning from him will provide you with the tools to become one, also. His years of experience shine through in his music and lessons. Around him, you will know that you are in the presence of an expert and true artist. His attention to detail and understanding of music technicality is high calibre. Sometimes music theory can seem like a foreign language but Marco has a special ability to translate the intricacies into something suitable for all levels- from beginner to very advanced. I believe that is rare. He is determined to explain things in a way that makes sense to the individual, approaching them from a place of kindness and patience. In terms of artist development, with his supportive guidance, I truly learned so much about who I was and how I came to be and an action plan going forward. He also has many insights into the industry, which is incredibly useful. It’s important to be around positive, caring and non judgemental people when going through self-discoveries and development. Marco is all of the above and more. His genuine validation and reassurance of the way I perceive the world whilst navigating how to express it through art, continues to help me tremendously. He encouraged me in so many ways and I was able to tap into dormant parts of myself, learning to awaken them and put them to use. By having the ability to do that, I’ve been able to create some of the best, most authentic music of my life. However, you decide to approach lessons with Marco, whether it be philosophically, spiritually or technically. Just know that you are in extremely safe and skilled hands. I cannot thank him enough for all that he has taught me. His personal passion and love for music is inspiring in itself. There are not many like Marco, don’t miss out on learning from him!!

The Artist Development Course changed my life for the better. Marco doesn’t only equip you for the industry but looks after and supports you through your journey. I wouldn’t be where I am now without that course or Marco’s expertise. Highly recommend to all who are looking for that launch into their music careers. Unforgettable experience. Skills and friends for life.

Marco has been more than just a music tutor for me he was also a mentor. His teaching has a large emphasis on what makes you special as an individual and there is less focus on how to gain mainstream success in the music industry, which I believe is what actually leads to timeless art. While doing the artist development course music was taught more philosophically and allowed me and my peers to think outside the box in our approach to our craft, Marco gave us the freedom to express any issues we were having and always responded compassionately, always encouraging us to channel what we were feeling into our music. Marco’s support is something I’ll forever be grateful for, so for any lost artists looking for some direction I couldn’t recommend Marco as a tutor enough. When I first started the course my main goal was to increase my confidence and within the first few months I was already performing in front of live audiences sharing my music, which is way more than I could’ve ever expected to achieve in that short space of time.

Marco is a fantastic guitarist and tutor. He gives great insight and attentive feedback into songwriting and performance. His feedback has remained invaluable to me since he taught me Artist Development at college and has me helped shape my career to this day. Nathaniel
