    Have been with Helen Lowe since 2008 or so, with 2 different business and my personal. They always come through, and what I mostly appreciate is they don't waste time with coffee meetings and extra nonsense. The rates are fair and competitive, and they do not 'pad' invoices. They support me with Freeagent and everything is usually complete before I'm even aware it's due. The staff are excellent to deal with. They also have an excellent and affordable audit-insurance package, where they stick with you should you need them.

    I'd give zero stars if I could. John was supposed to prepare my income tax returns. After several meetings I prepared all of the evidence and never heard back from him. Followed up with phone messages and emails but no response. This went on for over a year. In the end just gave up and found someone else. If you don't want my custom then all you needed to do was say so. Aviod as there are more reliable accountants available.

    Over my 40+ years in business I have had dealings with many accountancy firms, small and large. None has been as approachable and efficient as Helen Lowe accountants. Their fees are very reasonable and I receive prompt and personal attention whenever I require their services. I couldn't ask for more and have no plan to move elsewhere any time soon.

    Despite having all the information he requested, John failed to file my company's accounts on time with HMRC. Strangely, he did file with Companies House, he just didn't finish the job. HMRC is now chasing me for payment of fines, which John has promised to pay but thus far hasn't. Neither John or Lauren reply to phone messages or emails. I get the impression they're too busy these days to care, so I'd avoid this company.
