   My fridge freezer completely broke down the week before Xmas. All my food went off and had to be thrown out. Phil was so helpful and came round and assessed my situation so quickly. He gave me two options and I decided to get a replacement. He offered to do what he could to help get me a replacement. That didn’t work out due to proximity to Christmas but he was so helpful and I’m now getting a new one in time to save Christmas. I couldn’t have done it without Phil. He’s now in my address book for all future appliance emergencies!

   Unsure why my experience was so much worse than everyone else's. Made a web form inquiry, which never received a response. Had to phone and leave several messages before getting a callback. Arranged for a 2pm appointment the following day, and they didn't show up. Finally arrived at nearly 5:30pm, diagnosed the problem and said they needed to buy the part...then never followed up or returned, despite numerous phone calls and messages. Just really poor service and communication. Would not recommend.

   Genuinely great service from a father and son who obviously really care about making sure that they do the best possible job for you. Phoned to see if they could look at my washing machine that had gone south, and they came within 24 hours - identified the problem quickly and resolved it. They clearly have a lot of expertise (and took the time to explain some technical aspects of the machine) and I won't hesitate to make use of their services again in the future - delighted that I found them, highly recommended!

   Amazing service. First asked if he could walk me through it on the phone. I preferred not to and asked for a quote. He then made an appointment, arrived on time, and quickly made the repair. Gave amazing advice whilst carrying out the repair and the final bill was less than the quote. Highly recommended and will definitely use again either for repair or to source a new machine if required.

   Absolutely flawless service from start to finish. I contacted City Domestics because my washing machine seemed to have developed a leak. Phil diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time, made a thorough check to ensure there were no additional problems likely to occur, went above and beyond by fixing something that's been annoying me in my kitchen for five years without me even having to ask, and cleaned up carefully afterwards. All that, and just a really pleasant person to have around. I wouldn't call anyone else in future - I really can't recommend him highly enough!

Honest assessment and explanation of why repair impossible. Good sound advice and offer of help to source and fit a new machine at a competitive price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

   Phil is fantastic, and goes above and beyond. He came out very late one night to repair our washing machine, the day our son came back from school camp with 3 days worth of festering, muddy laundry. We've used him 3 times now and really rate him.
