   This studio is the best I've been to. I have thirteen tattoos but my last six from portside tattoos are incredibly good. The detail, hard work, and professionalism that has gone into each tattoo is unreal. The staff there are so nice and make you feel like part of the furniture. I have so many people asking where I got my tattoos from, which says it all. I'm so glad I found them and can't wait to get my fourteenth tattoo.

   I got my philtrum pierced (Medusa) and omg I haven’t stopped telling everyone how quick it was done, 10 minuets in and I had abit of anxiety and nervous before hand but how quickly it went. I honestly can’t praise her enough absolutely amazing!

   I was pierced by Jen today, and was happy with the whole experience. She was professional, had a calming manner and was easy to chat to whilst she worked. The piercings went smoothly and I was made to feel comfortable, and she checked in with me regularly. The studio was clean and her work area sterile. Great service, thank you.

   I think it depends on what side of the best the piercer gets up on as to whether they are helpful or not. I’ve visited 3 times now and the first time she was a little stand offish. I vowed not to use again. Had to visit a second time due to losing a piercing and needing it replacing quickly and her attitude was great. Visited again today and back to the unhelpful approach. Wouldn’t change a piercing due to it being only 4 months old although no issues with it. Didn’t even look at it to see if it healed. Asked her how I’d tell if it was healed. Her answer was I’d just know. Well I do know and you’d have known if you’d looked instead of dismissing me.

   Had a 5 hour tattoo with 5 Paco. I couldn't ask for a more friendly tattooist. All the staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. Had a laugh. The design was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Very sterile also x

   Have been going to Portside for years and trust them with my life in terms of tattoos and piercings. I have had the majority of my piercings done here and Jen is incredible with an amazing jewellery selection for once they've healed - she even orders pieces in for clients for those wanting white gold etc or things she doesn't stock 24/7. As for tattoos, I've had all of mine done here by each artist in the studio and I couldn't be happier with them. The prices are more than fair, if anything I think they should increase them a little to reflect their outstanding quality and the chats across the whole studio, including those being tattooed is lovely, it's just a wholesome environment that I love being in. I had the best day there recently having my forearm tattooed by Heidi and my sternum touched-up by Paco. The studio is super clean and everyone there is incredibly professional. I highly recommend Portside to anyone considering piercings or tattoos - the staff make you really relaxed and their experience and designs speak for themselves :)
