   Julian was very efficient in diagnosing the fault and organising the parts, quoting an accurate price and advising of a time frame when the parts could be supplied and fitted. On the day he was due to make the repair, he was running late (which happens!) and my only slight frustration was not knowing if he was coming for want of a phone call to tell me he was a bit behind! Otherwise, it would’ve been 5* !!

   We came across some great old videos we'd long forgotten but when we came to play them, our long-unused old VHS machine wasn't in the best of health. Looking for a refurbished model or repairer, I came across an advert for this Edinburgh company. After a quick exchange of emails describing the problem we delivered it to the shop, where Julian soon had it working again. Moving Pictures is a place well worth knowing about.

   I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I have received from the staff at Moving Pictures. They have diagnosed a fault in my tv that is critical as evidence. In apportioning blame for the damage to my tv. The staff has promised a replacement tv in the interim Excellent service and really nice guys

   Recently took in a Technics tape deck dating back to the 70's on behalf of relatives, they asked me to leave this feedback The sound is superb - as good as ever. It has a nice warm sound once again. The people you took it really knew what they were doing and a lot of pride and attention has gone into restoring it. We had a long time ago taken it to another place in Edinburgh, who said that this could not be fixed, so please pass this on to all the staff at Moving Pictures who went to all the effort to restore the tape deck that it is wonderful to have this fully operational again. I am so pleased indeed that there is a shop that does what it takes to source parts and restore such electronics.
