   Cheddar Dental Practice is the first dentist practice that I have felt has really helped me with my oral hygiene. I have felt anxious when visiting dentists in the past but Mr Vinay Shah is so welcoming, reassuring, his advice on dental hygiene is so helpful & explains everything, making sure you understand, I feel more confident when I visit the practice. Mr Shah and his team of hygienists have really helped me look after my teeth and gums, it has made a real difference & most importantly it has been a positive experience. The whole team, the reception personnel (very friendly & welcoming) dental nurses, hygienists & dentists - I cannot recommend them highly enough. Today I met with Mr Krisan Narendradason (a new dentist to the practice) he has a relaxed and friendly manner and I felt at ease, which is really important & he answered any questions that I had regarding my ongoing treatment.

   I just want to say how wonderful all the staff were today when I turned up with a very upset teen with a broken tooth. The receptionist was lovely and they got him in really quickly, the dentist and the dental assistant went out of their way to make him feel relaxed and they did everything they could to help. Massive thanks from The Miller Family .. X

   When I pointed out (as a review on here) that the method of letting long term NHS customers know that a particular dentist at the practice was going private was to allow Simply Health to write to people extolling the virtues of Denplan (a Simply Health company) on Cheddar Dental Practice headed paper, two things happened. Firstly, I received a passive aggressive voicemail from the office manager telling me I was no longer a customer of the practice if “that’s how I felt”. Then, and this I feel is a very low blow, my (at the time) 11 year old daughter appeared excluded from the practice as an NHS client, with no appointment reminders received from that point onwards. So I’d say this. Make your own mind up when picking a dental practice to trust and do your research.

   Gave me root canal when I specifically said to remove the tooth, the two women said yes to the removal and jus proceeded to give me root canal, then gave me a temporary filling and when the filling inevitably fell out I was left with a gaping hole in my face that has been getting bigger, I cannot afford the £600 to have the tooth removed, we went when I was 16 so it was free, dentists really disappoint me, they never want to actually help you, they just want they’re next pay-check

   Georgina burton seen my very nervous daughter today for a tooth removal and she was absolutely amazing with her. Very calm and explained everything to her. Was very patient highly recommended this dentist and a huge thank you to Georgina and assistant.

   I am not very good when it comes to the Dentist particularly as I needed 2 extractions. I was referred to another Dentist who provided an extraction under sedation. However due to the confidence I have in Emily at Cheddar I decided to let her carry out the procedure. She explained the whole process to me to put my mind at ease and frankly apart from a bit of pushing I didn't realise she have finished the job! I have another extraction booked for August so I know I will be in safe hands. Thank you Emily.

   I am a very nervous patient and have always had a fear of dental work, and so when I was told I needed an extraction and a filling on the same appointment I was awake at 4am dreading 10am coming around and being called. However reclined in the chair waiting for the worst to happen it all passed very quickly, the dentist was brilliant, the expectation of pain never happened and it was the best experience I have ever had with dental work. At one point I thought I might fall asleep because it was so stress free and painless, very understanding dentist and brilliant at patient care and the procedure was done in such a professional way that no discomfort was felt at all. So I would like to say thanks to all at Cheddar Dental Practise.
