The only neutral thing I could say, is that their initial billing can be confusing, but the quality of service so far, more than makes up for that.     I do not recommend the orthodontist here. I was asked what she should do everytime I went there even though it is her job to know. When my brackets broke, I was told I can put them back on but I don't have to and it is my choice. Later when my brackets were retightened my enamel on my teeth was damaged and my orthodontist told me that it was only glue and that it will disappear. However, it never disappeared because it was enamel that was damaged. Throughout my 18 months of treatment, I was told my orthodontist would on metal retainers at the end of my treatment. At the end of my treatment, I was told by my orthodontist that I can not have metal retainers because I did not have enough space in my mouth for it even though I was told 18 months ago that it would be done. Because I had no metal retainers, my teeth had returned to the same state as it was before the treatment. I tried to contact my orthodontist through the reception but I was told that I was not allowed to contact my orthodontist because in my files it was said that I did not have enough space in my mouth. I was told that my treatment has finished and that there is nothing they can do about it. I had to go to two different orthodontists where I was told that there are no signs that I would not be able to have metal retainers. In a different orthodontist, I paid £300 for metal retainers that were supposed to be put on me at Llantarnam Dental where my treatment cost me £1300+ only on my bottom teeth. I don’t recommend Llantarnam Dental at all. There were no signs that I could not have metal retainers. You are better off going somewhere else than Llantarnam Dental.

    Very friendly service but had a lot of trouble with my bookings (around 3 / 4 times) either being cancelled and rearrange (one time on the day) or just not have been put correctly into their system. Secondly I was not happy with the result from my second hygienist appointment. She could not finish the job on my first visit and I was understanding about it as I haven't been to a dentist for a few years but I still had stains on after my second visit. I did put in a formal complaint where I was given an apology and offered a free Sylc appointment with the hygienist and an appointment with the dentist on the same day. I was pleased that both appointments were on their system for this visit and I was extremely happy with the results with the hygienist and she did explain why there were still stains from the previous visit which I was understanding about.
