Good place to practice basketball, specially for kids. Great environment and supportive staff.

Great little leisure centre, played wheelchair rugby league here, plenty of parking, the entrance isn't level and you'd need to open a second door in a chair but the staff are very friendly and helpful sure they would help. Changing rooms and toilets are clean and tidy. The showers were a bit chilly but it was 10pm.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We go every Sunday because my eldest son plays basketball there β€” it’s become part of our weekend routine! The staff are always welcoming, the hall is well maintained, and there’s a great atmosphere during the sessions. One thing to note: parking is free, which is great, but it can sometimes be tricky to find a space if it’s busy. There’s also a small outdoor climbing wall that my younger one absolutely loves β€” it’s a nice touch and keeps him entertained while we wait. A brilliant local centre with something for everyone.

The main hall is very large and can fit multiple games of tennis, badminton, basketball and more. Not in the best location but there are many bus stops nearby. The changing rooms unfortunately have no locks, however they are quite large and have multiple showers and toilets. The floors in the changing rooms were sadly, stained and quite dirty however my experience was positive overall.

It disheartens me to write this review as I have previously enjoyed the services that this place had to offer, but I had the misfortune of seeing puppies being brought into this place for puppy yoga, puppies were very young and being unloaded from the back of a van in what looked like small cages normally used for taking cats to the vets. The puppies looked way too young for this and most likely should have still been with their mothers and not in a leisure centre. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to the Crags Centre as I can't agree to what I can only describe as a cruel activity, especially as it's been proven to negatively impact the wellbeing of the puppy.

Here to watch a junior basketball game, definitely needs a wee cafe here for the parents

I watched a very good basketball game but there is no fixed seating, so you need to go early and grab a chair to seat at the right spot to watch.

Great place to play basketball. At the time of this review a weekly 'public slot' is available in which you can just pay a small amount (Β£2 as of now) and you get a ball and the courts to share with others. A great idea and a great sports centre! All times for the public slot are posted on their Facebook.
