   I brought my 6 year old daughter to have her first ear piercing with Helen, after having been a year ago to have my nose pierced. She was fantastic, so I knew I could trust her with my daughter. Helen spent a considerable amount of time explaining the process to my daughter in a way that she could understand and assured her that nothing would happen without my daughter's permission. After the first ear was pierced, my daughter struggled with the pain but wasn't rushed at all with the process. A couple of brave attempts later and we made the decision to come back the next day. She was so excited and determined the next day so we headed back to see Helen, who made her feel brave and secure. A couple more attempts later and my daughter decided she didn't want to have them pierced anymore. (So proud of her voicing her mind!) Helen was completely supportive of her decision and gently removed the first earring. My daughter remained happy and positive with her experience, deciding to try again in a few years. This is 100% down to the fantastic approach from Helen and her incredible handling of the situation. Notable mention to the lovely Liz on reception who was equally wonderful towards my daughter! I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience for my daughter's first piercing. She may not have had them done in the end, but her confidence in herself and optimism for possibly getting them in the future made me proud. Thank you so much Helen!

   Took my kids to have piercings. One had their second lobes and helix and the other their first lobes. Helen was absolutely brilliant, she talked through everything and gave a big selection of jewellery to choose from (definitely spoilt for choice). The building and the piercing area was extremely clean. Helen was very gentle throughout all piercings, she waited until the kids were ready until she pierced. Helen made it very light hearted especially as one of my kids was a little loud. She gave thorough details about aftercare. I will not be going anywhere else for anymore piercings, she's brilliant. Prices are competitive. Wish I could give her a higher rating than 5 stars. Thanks for all your help Helen.

   So my little girl wanted her ears pierced, we did some research and helen was highly recommended by friends. She first gave me very good advice and offered my daughter just a visit to her place of work. No commitments or issues. She spoke to my child as her own person and involved her in every aspect of preparation and education. Helen made sure she was comfortable and felt safe at all times and always gave her the opportunity to speak. She never did anything without Ella’s permission. Ella really likes her. The actual piercing was clean and safe and quick. Ella said it hurt a little but had no tears and is so proud of herself with her new earrings. Thank you Helen for all your advice and interaction. I have one happy little lady. Xx

   I’ve had all of my ear piercings (except my first lopes 20 years ago!) done by Helen and I could not recommend her more! She ensures you are informed, comfortable and happy throughout the piercing. I would not go anywhere else for my piercings! I leave there looking forward to the next one already. I also had a tattoo appointment this weekend at their beautiful new studio (if you haven’t found them yet, it’s worth a trip to next to the butty shop/old co-op). I love my tattoo and I’ve got the bug again thanks to the skilled, chilled, reassuring environment. The lovely Liz on reception just tops off the whole process. A one stop shop for all! Thank you all!
