Steer clear of this awful firm. Heartless staff who only care about taking your money and leaving you with more stress than you had previously. Even more worrying that almost every review is stating the same thing! Avoid this solicitors at all costs!
I contacted Duncan Lewis Solicitors with a request for legal assistance and received a call to discuss my needs. I spent about 10 minutes explaining my case and stated that I required help with a legal aid application. After this, the representative informed me that they could not assist with my matter due to a lack of available resources. When I asked if this decision was linked to the fact that it involved a legal aid application, the representative said no, reiterating that they simply didn’t have the resources. While I appreciate the follow-up call, this raised concerns about honesty, as the same could have been stated upfront before I spent time explaining my case.
Called their office today. Unfortunately they can’t hire good people to answer phone calls and you’ll hang up after repeating yourself 4/5 times and even slowing down each word you say. They may have a good reputation but that means nothing if they have poor employees who can’t even grasp basic English words. Avoid at all costs and save your money.
I have tried since December 2022, to get Ellen Argyri to reply to weekly emails /telephone calls I have made etc. (It is now March 2023!) I have been unable to get a response and I have a family court matter luming. They have all my details/court papers and still I get no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Disgusting money hungry solicitors. We receive solely benefits but still made us pay £1500 which we had to borrow from family and friends and they knew this. Wanted more money to send a letter which we couldn't afford so they closed our case. Now my husband is in ICU and they just point blank ignore me instead of trying to help in such a stressful situation. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be bled dry and left with no open case. Tamana Aziz and krutika Patel are the worst ones in this firm.
I have never used a company with such poor customer service as this! The professionalism of this law firm is non existent! I am on the verge of homelessness with 2 small children and I’ve been chasing my solicitor Amandeep Baines for over a month! He has never returned my calls or emails even the rest of the firm wouldn’t assist either; I would have preferred honesty if you were unable to help me; but you have so many false promises and my tenancy is up September 18th 2022 and you have done nothing! Your law firm should feel ashamed to treat people like this!
I really can't understand how these ignorant rude people have got a good review rating. I called today and a man with a strong accent and not fluent in English answered the phone in a very arrogant manner. I explained a little as to why I was calling and admittedly cried a little and he mumbled something understand his breath and put the phone down on me. Oh well his loss is my gain
After I be contacted them they’ve allocated a solicitor named Constantino. After promising the moon he let me down just days before the hearing date without even excusing the matter. So I lost precious time while counting on him. Constantino did not care at all. Worst attitude ever. Stay away I have the feeling they are not worth the bother. They don’t appear to show any professionalism or experience. Constantino was barely speaking English
