What a waste of my time, told by Gita I was eligible for legal aid on a phone call as a domestic abuse survivor going through a divorce, asked me to bring in the relevant documentation and scheduled an appointment arrived, then to be told I'm not eligible because of the equity In my home which was all discussed over the phone with her before hand, she already had this information. Got my hopes up. Have mental and physical health issues if it was not for my son in law to drive me to the appointment, would never have made it there myself, hopes dashed, wasted time & petrol.
