   L&D have been dealing with several matters for me. They have constantly been brilliant - professional, proactive and friendly. They are happy to chase the other side’s solicitors when they are holding things up and and reply to my emails same day (often within half an hour) - Not the three or more days you have to wait with many others. Tracy, in particular has been great to deal with. It’s so nice to find a conveyancer who actively tries to speed up the process rather than slowing it down. Can’t recommend them enough and I will be using L&D again. Thanks

   Following family circumstances, I needed a new updated will. I had used Lewis & Dick previously and were very happy with their service, so contacted them again. All the staff I dealt with were helpful and understanding. There is no long wait on the phone, your concerns are dealt with quickly and fully, and they really do get back to you! The outcome was a will I wanted, good advice on how to word things for my letter of wish. Would highly recommend them and have done so recently to a friend. Must not forget they are very good value as well. I dealt with Sarah Dede and she was excellent.

   Dreadful company - avoid if you are in any kind of hurry. We used them in 2022 to do a combined sale and purchase. They were hopeless at communication, complained how overworked they were whenever we could get them on the phone (and that we shouldn't call them because it slowed them down even more!). When they finally came up with a contract, they'd got the incorrect price and name of one of the other parties.

   Tried to do a very simple TR1 form through them. Months of chasing, emails, calls, never once heard from the actual solicitor and did not make any progress. Always told they would email or call us. Went somewhere else (they did give us a full refund on the deposit) where the form was sent off within the week.

   My partner and I recently purchased our first home and were given a recommendation to use Lewis & Dick as our solicitors for this process and I am so glad that we did. I can recommend Sharon deans as conveyancing and her colleague Angela, they were both so helpful and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. All of our queries were dealt with in an efficient and timely manner even when issues arose from the seller’s side. Sharon and her colleagues were always professional and courteous, We would definitely use them again when the need arises.

   Lewis and Dick were recommended to us by our mortgage broker. Our solicitor was Jonathan Owen and we were very pleased with the service. There was always someone there to answer our phone calls or emails - it was a very different experience with our previous solicitor. We are yet to complete in a week time but I'm sure things will go smoothly. Hopefully we won't be moving for many years to come but if needed I know who would be doing our conveyancing! Thank you.
