I would highly recommend Jackie. I’ve had a few treatments with her now, including make up, tanning and the most recent was micro needling. Jackie was fantastic, I actually found it so relaxing and as always Jackie is always so professional and did a great job. I can’t wait to book in for the next one. 10/10
I cannot recommend Jax-Glam Beauty enough. From the moment that I made my initial enquiry, the communication and services received was delivered promptly, in a professional manner. Myself and Maid of Honour visited Jax for our trial where we tried numerous hair and make up options, but were never made to feel rushed or pressured to agree to something because we were becoming short of time. On the day of our wedding Jax arrived early and kept to schedule, even though I had a couple of mishaps throughout the morning. Jax is very knowledgeable, talented and definitely value for money. I would give 10 stars if it were possible. Thank you so much Jax for making the whole process a stress free and calm one, just what a Bride needs on her big day!
I had a spray tan done with Jackie, and it was a great experience. She’s super friendly and made me feel really comfortable. She completely understood what I wanted and knew exactly how long I should leave it on to get the right colour for me. It turned out perfect, and will certainly be going back for more tans in the future!
I booked Jackie to do my bridal hair and makeup on Saturday and she was wonderful from start to finish. She always checked through each stage that the makeup and hair was how I wanted it and ensured I was comfortable throughout. She was so easy to get on with and really added to the positive atmosphere on my wedding morning! Thank you so much Jackie for all our hair and makeup!
I cannot thank Jackie enough for the wedding hair and makeup she did for myself and my bridesmaids at Clearwell Castle in May. Jackie put my bridesmaids and myself completely at ease with her calm and friendly personality, and I loved the natural style of the makeup and hair. At my trial Jackie gave me plenty of advice and trialled two different styles for my hair based on photographs I’d provided. I was a bit nervous before the trial but Jackie is amazing and just put my straight at ease. My bridesmaids looked beautiful and I’m really happy with how everything came together - thank you Jackie!
Jackie was amazing from start to finish of the process. She was very easy to work with and always kept me in the loop with communications. The added service of a trial meant we could determine what worked best for my complection and what style suited my personality best. Jackie really took her time to make sure the look what exactly as I had envisioned and she also gave us lots of helpful tips to do in the future. On the day, Jackie brought my whole look together and I loved it. My whole wedding party felt very comfortable around her which helped make everyone feel more relaxed. I can't recommend Jackie enough as she did all of our looks exactly as we had envisioned and added a calming atmosphere to the room. Thanks a lot Jackie!!
Jackie did my hair and make-up for my wedding last month, and the hair styling for my six bridesmaids. Jackie was excellent at both the hair/make-up trial and on the day. At the trial she provided great suggestions and guidance and clearly had a wealth of experience in the industry to draw on. All Jackie's tips ahead of the day were so helpful! On the morning of the wedding Jackie was very patient and attentive (particularly when circumstances meant that we had to tweak our schedule!) and we were all really happy with the end result. Would certainly recommend for anybody getting married in the area!
Jackie was recommended on a wedding page and did my hair and make up for my wedding and I could not be more pleased than I was. I was so impressed with my hair, such a pretty 'up' hair style, exceeded what I thought anything would look like on my head! So pleased with my make up, it lasted all day, was not clogging and perfectly matched to my skin tone. I have booked Jackie's services for a future wedding as a guest. Jackie did my hair and make-up for my civil partnering ceremony, and she was incredible. I got so many compliments, both for my make-up and my hair, which Jackie festooned with flowers that matched my bouquet. Jackie was so easy to work with, she totally understood what I was hoping for and didn't force me to have anything I didn't want, and really took the time to get to know me so she could understand what the ceremony would be like and designed my make-up to match. She also did my mum's make-up, and my mum was really thrilled with how she looked. I would definitely recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a make-up artist, especially if you have a big occasion coming up (including a wedding or similar!), she is a really talented, professional and kind person.
