Good place to learn for mountain bike basics, there's a route that leads past the memorial. You can either take the stairs or go to the right and take the grass downhill route that zips you into the pathway. Or you can go the opposite way with the dirt stairs with a sick transfer at the end. I'd recommend watching out for the footballers though. I've been yelled at for practicing my wheelies on the pitch during off times. Mostly due to the fact that the grass pitched gets teared up by dirt bikers that have actually rode right past me upon entering the park. There's sections near the stairs at the memorial I was talking about that could be ridable but unfortunately it's covered with overgrown twigs and lots of leaves. Would need a big clean up to ride.

It's a nice park. Pretty clean. Playback is for slightly older kids. Football pitches are a bit small. Well loved by local residents Has bike parking and benches. One of nearby residents does the planting on the lane which is nice. And it had a wildflower area in summer. New steps recently and solar dot lights on the paths.

A former quarry used to provide stone to Edinburgh's new town, Redhall Is a well kept park with a higher level for the war monument, and low level for football pitches. Children's play park at the end. Regular Sunday litter picking by the community means a clean park.

It's had a lot of water damage due to leaks a lot of mud and dirty water just got to keep kid's and pet's away from it. But top end of the park is drying up and the kid's are back football training which is good to see.

Great big field with lots of room for kids and pets to run around and seating around the park there is also a small play park situated at the far away end of the field ideal for kids.
