   As a small business owner the sleepless nights are caused by companies like this. I was with Bluewater & Brightwater acquired their contracts I had no say in the matter. Brightwater charge you for a meter that is supplying two other premises. They then have the audacity to reprimand you for contacting Scottish Water so you can sort the ongoing issue out. They take whatever DD payments that they conjure up DD contract was £46ish per month they went in & took over a £100 via blank invoices. Then they take 8 weeks payments in advance off my credit so they can pilfer a wee bit more cash. Is this even legal to charge a small business 8 weeks in advance for water services they haven’t actually used. You sign a contract they change the contract amount & details whenever it suits. Brightwater state they are there to support small Scottish businesses total bumf I have had 8 months of total anguish & then when you think it is sorted they then start to insult you, they tell blatant lies via email & over the phone. They apologise over the phone but won’t put it in writing cowards. Then they fling their dummy out the pram when you request them to do the job they are getting paid for. It is me that’s the customer I am paying for a service. Take my DD & correct payment I agreed too it’s not that difficult.

   I had the worst experience in 15 years of business as a Caravan Park Owner with Clear business. I changed to Brightwater and the difference is night and day. I am on an excellent rate, the bills are clear, customer service is responsive and very good. Highly recommended.
