GoApe Dalkeith is a cracker of a route whichever course you do and even the Treetop Challenge is probably the easiest of three Treetop Challenges in Scotland (Aberfoyle and Peebles are a little harder). What this means is that those at the younger end of the scale can experience the thrills of cool zip lines and challenges feeling without some of the harder elements of other locations. All that said I was still aching the next day but then I am a middle aged man. Highly recommended and good fun for all ages.

We went as we got a virgin experience voucher. Was a brilliant course (treetop adventure). My son loved it. Only downside is its extremely expensive for food and we went elsewhere for food. I would certainly eat before going or go elsewhere after you've completed your adventure for something to eat. Overall good experience.

Really good fun as ever. Staff are all patient, friendly, and set kids' minds at ease. We were behind a slow family, so they let us skip ahead to a free course (on treetop adventure plus), and even though we'd used our hour on the first three courses, they let us onto the 4th. We had a go on the Fort Douglas adventure playground too, and it was tremendous - loads to do!

Attended here on Sunday 13th October. First of all a massive shout out to the amazing staff you have here. Every single person we interacted with on our visit was fantastic. So friendly, attentive and overall great. Amazing to get this level of customer service. Thank you. Secondly this place is amazing. Me and my family and friends had such an amazing hour or so here. Everything was brilliant. We will definitely be back. My 6 and 9 year old loved their experience and the adults did too. Easy to find and amazing scenery.

My daughter and her friend came here as a birthday treat. The staff were really friendly and the safety briefing was very clear and easy for them to understand. There was no rush for them to go around the courses and they had a brilliant time. It was challenging yet manageable for them. It’s quite pricey, but they had over 2 hours of fun, so was worth it!

We were a party of 5, mainly teens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They got us all harnessed up and ready for the safety briefing. The safety guidance was a recording and didn't take long. We got a practice go on a very short course, only a foot or so off the ground. There are difficult and easy options available, you choose when you get the obstacle. I was a little nervous and felt that my harness should have been checked before starting each additional course as it did seem to loosen off. After the second one I did ask that my harness was checked before going on the last two. 4 courses took us nearly 3 hours, although we did get stuck at one point. I definitely recommend and would go back.

I was very impressed. We received a gift voucher for the children for Christmas, when I saw that my children were too small for the full course I expected the junior course to be much smaller and as such didn't think we as adults would really need to join them - well I regretted that! My children managed it brilliantly but my heart was in mouth! Even the children's course is very high and challenging. It really is superb!!! Ps you need to pay £3 to park! Just so you are not caught out!

Absolutely awesome! We took the whole family, 3 of which are disabled (myself included) and we had a blast. We got slightly different harnesses and someone to slow us down at the end of the ziplines so we didn't injure ourselves. The staff were super lovely and had a good sense of humor. Even cheering us on when we needed it.

My 2 girls (7 and 9) went for the treetop + adventure and had great fun. The few minutes training gave them (and me) the confidence they could keep themselves safe. They got to do 4 trails with a slow increase on both difficulty and excitement along the way. The final zip over the river is just great! The staff is great when help is needed, keeping the instructions positive and encouraging They both had lots of fun and came away exhilarated and with an enormous confidence boost.
