She is incredibly knowledgeable and talented when it comes to all things skin and created a bespoke facial for me which I loved!! A week later and my skin feels and looks amazing!    I've been coming to the salon since 2019, and I’ve never looked back. Karen Christensen is always my first choice, the warm and friendly welcome makes every visit a pleasure. I have blonde highlights and naturally curly hair, which can be tricky to manage, but Jo works absolute magic every time. The level of care and expertise here is unmatched! I would highly recommend.

   Having been to the same hairdresser for eleven years I was extremely nervous visiting a new salon. However, all the anxiety disappeared as soon as I entered the salon. I was welcomed by a smiley receptionist who then showed me to my seat. My stylist was equally welcoming and was so attentive. The whole experience was so relaxing. I walked out of the salon feeling a million dollars. I can't thank all of the staff enough. I would recommend visiting this salon.

   As I have just moved to Wells, this was my first visit to Karen Christensen and will be my last. The hairdresser Jess was not at all friendly and although I tried to make light conversation with her, I realised very quickly that she was not going to reciprocate. So I spent most of the appointment sitting in silence. This made me feel very uncomfortable. To make matters worse when I got home I realised that one side of my hair is an inch shorter than the other side! I have always had a very easy, friendly relationship with hairdressers so yesterday's experience was rather depressing. Every woman knows that part of the pleasure of a visit to the hairdressers is having a friendly chat with whoever is doing your hair and feeling comfortable. I left feeling angry quite frankly and now have to go somewhere else to rectify my lop sided haircut. These businesses have one chance to make a good impression and this one failed.

   came in to get my hair recoloured as i went to a different salon and they ruined my hair and i absolutely hated the way it looked i came in to get it fixed and getting looking something more like what i wanted and my hair dresser Lucy worked miracles and has gotten my hair looking incredible and i can actually walk out the house again and feel confident! would highly recommend.

   Always a very relaxing atmosphere, and Sophie is wonderful, she asks lots of questions to make sure she knows what you want, she pays attention to your natural hair and what suits you, and is very gentle when washing and blow-drying. I have moved away from Wells but will continue to come back here for haircuts as I haven't found anyone as good as Sophie! :)

   I’ve been having my hair cut and coloured at KC hair for about 15 years. I have the amazing Jo to do my hair and she always takes care of me and knows exactly what my hair needs whether it has been short or long! Walking into the salon you’re always made to feel very welcome and are looked after. Ive also had several beauty treatments over the years and can thoroughly recommend any of the treatments.
