i was found guilty at a re trial after a pc changed his evidence in 2013. i believe my barrister shouldve had my case dismissed after the pc changed his evidence from the previous trial. ive not used this firm since.
Used them for conveyancing a few years ago when buying, but they forgot to register the lease. Caused massive delays when it came to selling and nearly caused the sale to fall through. They were dishonest as they contacted me at some point with no explanation why and wanted to sort out their admin work at my cost even after house purchase was sorted. It was because they messed up at the time but didn’t tell me the importance of sorting it out at their expense. I found out what happened as when selling new solicitor was on the ball but sternberg reed showed no interest in a speedy resolution as we needed to constantly chase them. As someone said, recommend them to your enemies. Didn’t take it to SRA as was too stressed at the time.

These Solicitors were just terrible when we used them, i know now why the solicitor who is partner was so cold... he was looking to get as much money out of us as possible. They NEVER discussed the cost's of phone calls and emails etc until we got the bill. When we went to court they sent a solicitor who didn't know our names never mind the case. We lost our home because they poor work .... I would check what you do with them, like the costs and how long they take to do things. DONT USE THEM
We used Sternberg services and we were really disappointed with the quality of the service, no clear forecast or strategy on the outcome of the case, lack of communication on the legal advices. invoices were not properly detailed for each task, at the end we felt that we were spending money for nothing, event after closing our account we did not received any news for the documents they still have. Really feel no support and help from them.
