   I visited this laundry today with my wife and our two children and had one of the warmest experiences of our entire trip. The woman working there could not have been kinder. She helped us navigate the cash only machines, pointed us to the Sainsbury’s just a few meters away for an easy ATM withdrawal with our American bank card, and went out of her way to make everything simple. What really stood out was that she offered to switch our laundry for us while we took the kids to a nearby playground. It was genuine hospitality from someone who clearly loves helping people. Edinburgh has been wonderful to us, and this small moment captured exactly why. Friendly people, thoughtful gestures, and a feeling that visitors are truly welcome. We are grateful for how we were treated and would recommend this place to anyone passing through.

   Im at visitor to Edinburgh, and needed to use a laundromat this afternoon. Ace's is not flash, however the young lady (opps didn't get her name sorry) running it was great. Immediately recognized me as needing help, did so super cheerfully, and helped me through the entire wash / dry process. She was even good enough to recommend a locals pub to me while I waited. Top place, great service, thanks

   Was hesitant to go but Iam glad I did since the lady helped me was so nice. It was a wed at 2pm so it wasn’t super busy. It cost 8£ for a 25 minute wash, 1£ for 2 tide pods and 3£ to dry for 30 minutes. It’s a clean place, tidy and rather cozy. The lady took my change and exchanged it for tokens in which she pressed the buttons for me. It’s one of the best places to clean your clothes if you are traveling in the area. Highly recommended!

   Took quite a few things over for dry cleaning and 2 of my jumpers came back with HOLES! My partner is absolutely devastated, as one of the items that was ruined was a one-of-a-kind vintage cashmere jumper that cost him nearly £300. I feel so bad. Reading the reviews and considering their 50 years in service, I would have never expected this. Will NOT be going back here for cleaning.

   Was midway through a trip and needed to do laundry. This was the perfect place to get it done. The lady helped us understand how everything worked and prepared baskets for us to transfer our clothes to the dryer ahead of time. We could ask her anything and she was happy to answer.

   I've been there a couple of times and a lady has been very kind. but the last time I went there was another lady with glasses who was super rude to me even though I asked her nicely if there was a dryer available. She told me in a rude way that there weren't any (even though they were empty) and she told me that they were only for customers and that she was very busy. Next time I'll check before going in to see if she's there and thus avoid ill-treatment.

   I have used this laundrette a few times this summer and it has been all pretty good except today. The lady who was in the shop last couple of times I went in was very friendly and helpful. But today it was someone I have never seen before working in the shop, a lady in her late 50s/early 60s with glasses. The service was APPALLING. Apparently she has got an attitude. She was grumpy and very rude to customers. If I was the owner, I would have never hired someone like her who turns away customers. It is just NOT good for the business.

   Cant say the reviews reflect my experience! Duvet didnt smell fresh or of anything, was bundled into th bag, I took it out to check it & if it hadnt been for the marks in th photo bein "slightly" lighter than before handing it in, id have said it hadnt been washed at all. Patches covered in black bits of fluff to which the lady dismissed as "maybe been too much fluff in the machine eh". Not impressed & wouldnt recommend for cleaning duvets.
