   Have had an amazing experience at Nuala Morey Salon today. I was a hair model for the lovely Sharon for a curly cut and colour. Sharon was so lovely and welcoming, put me at ease straight away. Although an incredibly experienced hairdresser Sharon is broadening her skills to gain more skills to cut Curly hair and she did an amazing job!! Have not had my hair coloured for years so was completely out of touch on what I wanted and what would work; Sharon alongside Nuala worked with what suited my skin tone and created this amazing colour plan which Sharon turned into a fantastic Balyage and it is stunning, thank you so much!!    I got a curly hair cut here for my fine, mid length curly hair. I was expecting a great experience for the price but it was a bit underwhelming. The haircut was really rushed and the hairdresser seemed rather preoccupied with other customers as well. I was still able to learn how to style my hair better, and the Aveda products worked well with my hair type. So I was grateful for that. But unfortunately I don't think I will be returning, as the cost was not justified for me. I think it is a good one-time thing for some, if you want to learn how to style your hair properly.

   I was given the opportunity to be a hair model at Nuala Morey and it was my first time getting a curly cut. It does take a little longer than a typical haircut but Bethany and her supervisors were friendly and professional and my curls look so healthy and fresh now. Thank you so much!

   Last Wednesday I did a 3.5 hour round car journey to try my first proper curly cut at 53 yrs old, I was nervous and quite tired when I got there but it was SO worth it. Thomasina made me feel at ease straight away and I had a wonderful shoulder massage before she starting tackling my knotty frizzy long mane…she was so knowledgeable, friendly and she keep apologising if she felt she pulled my hair, which was nothing to what I’ve experienced over the years! The whole experience was lovely and I can’t believe how my hair looked after, everyone keeps commenting on it and I definitely will be back again. My hair took so long that everyone had gone by the time she finished it and it was an hour past closing but she hadn’t rushed it at all which made me feel very valued, thank you thomasina, I can’t recommend this salon enough if you have Afro, curly or coily hair like me book yourself an appointment asap.

   Highly recommended! My hair is grey, wavy and medium thick and will always default to doing its own slightly stubborn thing. My lovely stylist Ali knows how to work with my hair type when cutting it, to get the best out of it, rather than trying to force it into something it isn't. I love my hair now! The whole experience is relaxing and enjoyable. The high quality cut makes looking after my hair in between appointments so much easier. The products I have been recommended have all also been excellent and really suit my hair.

   The service offered by this upmarket salon is 100% worth the price. I have tried curly cuts elsewhere but have not found any that compare. Georgia spent the time to really get to know my hair and shaped my style accordingly. The advice on products is honest and has led to me finding the best haircare regimen I have used so far. The aromatherapy neck and shoulder massage recently reintroduced after COVID was a wonderful addition.

   As a newbee to embracing my natural curls, I booked my appointment at Nuala Morey's salon for expert advice! I have fairly thin hair from over ironing and blow drying so Georgia advised me how it can be styled to get more volume. I was very happy with my curls and will be keeping up with all the advice to encourage my hair to grow and be more healthy!

   I’ve been going to Nuala Morey for around 3 years now and couldn’t be happier with the service. Georgia cuts my hair and is fantastic, she knows her stuff and knows how my hair curls and cuts it so well. My hair has become healthier and curlier since coming here. Love that all their products are vegan too and they are zero waste. Only downside is the price, quite expensive but then you are paying for a quality service.
