I have been going to Cut Above for years and always had a good service and a great experience with all the girls as they're always welcoming, chatty and accommodating and each have a great vision for when I want something different or a crazy colour. I went to the hairdressers yesterday with my friend as we had booked an appointment for Friday at 5.15pm. The girl at reception told us we hadn't booked anything and didn't serve us (we travelled from Writhlington just to get our hair cut and were told to leave). I was very disappointed as we weren't offered any compensation or an apology at least. So we had no choice but to leave and I didn't want to write a bad review as I was hoping for a good service. I'm sure the hairdressers are nice but the service is awful. If you don't mind being cancelled on last minute and travelling from far away and being told you hadn't booked then go there. If you'd rather have a good time then make sure you go to better salons. Thanks for reading this, how disappointing is the service they provide I am still upset I didn't get a haircut
Staff are super friendly from the moment you enter. I am made to feel like part of their family. Their hair skills are superb. I come with my mum and they will always go above and beyond to ensure we walk out extremely happy and feeling like a million dollars. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to look and feel amazing.

The staff is incredibly talented and professional; they truly know what they are doing. Very happy with my "chop". Staff all friendly. Good relaxing head massage when having hair washed. Lovely hairdresser listened to what I wanted and did it! I am very much a "wash and go" person so did not have to fight off any hairspray etc which I very much appreciated. Good value for money and I will be back!
Fantastic service as usual getting me in a day early so my hair was done before lockdown. Becky and her team have always been good, but during this time they have done everything they can do to make their clients feel safe.
