had such a relaxing haircut! the dyed haired person who i had the pleasure to talk to handled my hair with such care and gentleness, didn't hurt once! plus i got product reccomendations when i asked. great prices for students, lovely service & will definitely become my go-to hair salon in bristol :]
Baby was amazing and listened really carefully to what I wanted, gave good advice on what would suit my hair type and be easy for me to style at home. So happy with my new haircut! I’ll definitely be returning.
I've had my haircut by Courtney multiple times who does the best hair cuts I've had. I have thick wavy hair which has always been an issue for barbers when doing stuff like curtains or styled longer hair, but Courtney gets it right everytime, I can't imagine having another barber. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Went in thinking it was a queer hairdressers and found nothing queer about it really. Wasn’t listened to when having my hair cut and ended up with something I really didn’t like. To top it off the barber broke my necklace chain with the trimmers, didn’t own up to it when I hadn’t realised and then when I called to talk about the situation I was shouted over and treated as if I was in the wrong - as a client who didn’t get what they asked for and had their silver necklace chain broken without a mention. Disappointing.
Greg was really knowledgeable and helpful cutting and styling my hair. It’s was the first time it had been cut in 2 years and was a lot longer than I usually had it so his guidance and advice was very useful. He suggested some products and gave some useful tips to help keep it looking good.
I'm not sure where to start but let's do it by the door... Walking in and being treated to 3 smiling faces was a great start (Ellen, Greg and Seb). I then had the pleasure of Ellen cutting my hair, transitioning me from a man clinging on to the hair covering his bald spot to a fresh, shorter cut that has filled me with a lot more confidence in my appearance. Ellen was careful to listen to my problems and execute what I wanted in brilliant fashion. A true pro! I would recommend Shambarber to anyone in the Bristol area, they rock!! Cheers gang
Love this place! Steve was amazing at cutting my sons hair. He was so friendly and made him feel so comfortable, he was totally happy to have his hair cut. Very happy with the results and will definitely keep going back. Amazing friendly salon in stokes Croft with all the vibes ❤️
