   No customer deserves to be treated this disrespectfully. I am writing this review because I have never felt so disrespected by a business, especially as a first-time customer. I booked an appointment specifically with Angel and paid the required £50 deposit to secure that booking. My confirmation clearly stated Angel. However, on the day of my appointment, the salon changed my stylist without asking, informing, or even considering whether it was acceptable for me. I only discovered the switch when I had already entered the salon and received a second SMS — and even then, as a new client who didn’t know what Angel looked like, I didn’t realise anything was wrong until Daisy attended to me and I saw Angel working on another client who was receiving a more expensive service. It became obvious that my confirmed appointment was deprioritised in favour of someone else, simply because their service cost more. As a paying customer — and a new one — this felt extremely disrespectful. What made the situation worse was the owner’s response when I emailed for clarification. Instead of a sincere apology or accountability, I was told they “juggled” my appointment because Angel had another request client. No acknowledgement that they changed my stylist without consent. No recognition of how unprofessional that is. No respect for my time, my booking, or the fact that I followed their policy and paid the deposit. Daisy, the stylist I ended up with, was lovely. But good technical skills can never justify treating a customer as if their appointment is less important, or not worth communicating about. Respect is the bare minimum any human being should receive. I left MANE feeling dismissed, undervalued, and genuinely shocked by the way they handled the situation. For that reason, I cannot recommend this salon.

   I had a cut and colour here recently — I hadn’t coloured my hair in years and had no idea what I wanted, just knew it needed a change. They took the time to talk through options and made me feel completely at ease. The result is better than I could’ve imagined. The colour looks fresh but still natural, and the cut really lifted my whole look. It feels like a proper reset without being too dramatic. They’re professional, intuitive, and genuinely know what they’re doing. If you’re unsure or out of the loop with your hair, trust them — you’ll walk out feeling like yourself again, just better. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, they can definitely service adult and kids with exceptional hairstyle outcome. The value for money meets the service that they offer and the ambience inside the salon. Professionally done and you will feel new and refreshed after. As for my son, he cheerfully liked it.
