Moved to Bristol 6 years ago from London, I had a dilemma finding a hairdresser, I must say that I am very pleased I found The Doll House, Lydia is down to earth and excellent hairdresser. Not only she did a haircut, she does my colour, very happy with her work. She is simply the best!!!
I decided last minute that it was finally time to chop off some length to my hair to get it back to looking healthy and fresh. My hair was to my chest, but I wanted it around shoulder length, so quite a chunk off. I also wanted to have some highlights popped on to bring it back to life! I decided in the afternoon to look for somewhere that evening to get my hair done - it was difficult to find a hairdressers which stayed open until after usual working hours.. but I came across The Doll House! When I got to the salon, I was warmly welcomed. We spoke through what I wanted to achieve, (blunt shoulder length cut with highlights) and I was given advice on what would look best in terms of length. I was slightly hesitant, as anyone is with a different look - but Lydia was BEYOND amazing. She didn't just say how she felt about length and shape, she explained WHY and HOW it'd be good / bad and talked through everything. When making these big hair decisions, that attention to detail is what you need. Not only has this been the best haircut and highlights I've had, I actually just had a really lovely time! The place was relaxed, I had a cup of tea, and she was genuinely really lovely to talk to. 100% got myself a new hairdresser in Bristol! Thank you so much.
Lydia does an amazing job - she is professional and friendly, and always takes the time to listen to her clients. Very easy to book an appointment online, and all covid measures in place. I have always been pleased with the results after. I would highly recommend this salon!
Lydia always does my hair really well. She’s lovely & calm & patient making getting my hair done a pleasure and with the end result of always feeling glamorous when I leave. Highly recommend her.
Lydia has been cutting my hair for years and always does an amazing job. Great hairdresser, reasonable prices and fab city centre location. Just wish I was in town more to have my hair cut more regularly!
I would definitely recommend this place. Lydia is extremely talented and she pays a lot of attention and goes through a lot of extra effort to make sure that you get the hair style and colour that you want. I completely trusted her with my hair and I love the results!
