   I tried lots of different hairdressers since relocating to the South West from the Midlands. I was never completely satisfied with my hair until I found Rita at Urban Styling. She just instinctively knows how to style my hair and is a fabulous person too. Some salons can make you feel uncomfortable or be a bit intimidating. Not so here. Everyone is friendly welcoming and chatty. I would never go anywhere else now. Thank you Rita. ❤️

   I worked in a salon in Portishead and still went to Rita and Sally for my cut and colour maintenance. I can’t sing their praises enough. I would recommend to anyone. A friendly salon very welcoming.

   Went in for a full head of foils and was told my current cut was a little uneven at the ends, which I knew as I usually get it cut whilst curly as that’s how it is naturally. I was told that I’d be given a “tidy up” which I didn’t want but the scissors were at my head before I could object. Not only did I then get charged for a cut I didn’t ask for (albeit reduced because it was “only a small trim”) but I ended up with a dreadful cut. It was curled and styled and I didn’t notice anything drastic regarding the cut at first. However, I returned home with the most uneven “layers” with a section of my hair 2-3 inches short than the rest of with nothing in between to even attempt to blend! It’s not even the same on the other side. I’ll have to wait for it to grow out so I can have it cut to the same length again, as the short section is above chin level when the rest is just below shoulder length. I understand the intention but it’s ended up far worse than before and I’m having to wear my hair up until I can sort it out without having to chop off half my hair. It’s a real shame because I usually have a great experience here and they have sorted out my hair when home box dyes have gone awry, but this is definitely going to make me look elsewhere going forward.

   Lovely salon with super friendly staff who make you feel incredibly welcome. They also did my mother's hair for her wedding which was beautiful! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back :)

   Paid £5 for the worst fringe trim I have ever had. I asked for a trim and for it not to be too short) and I have come home looking like Jim Carrey out of dumb and dumber. Not only it is what I said I did NOT want (too short), it is also a terrible cut and slopes down on one side. Would never go back.

   Needed a haircut urgently now we are loosening Covid restrictions and i called in on the off-chance they could help. Stylist Ann could not have been more charming or helpful and before long i had said goodbye to the ragged Long hair falling over my shoulders and said hello to a proper cut. Ann did a wonderful job and I cannot recommend her too highly. I am really very pleased with the result. . . And all at a reasonable and fair price.
