Been using Matt's Place for 5 years now. There are lots of barbers out there but it's hard to find consistent quality. Guaranteed a great hair and beard trim. Always has proper music on especially some great country. Would advise getting the nose wax nothing better than walking out and feeling the air.
Brilliant place! Nice atmosphere, always steadily busy with music playing. Had my hair cut by both Matt and Chantelle and always guaranteed a decent cut each time. And most importantly... You get exactly what you ask for!
I first went to see Matt when my regular barber, who I had been going to for many years was not able to cut my hair. I had to get it sorted as I had not had a haircut for some time and was looking a bit worse for wear. I took a chance and popped into to Matt's place. Upon entering Matt was very welcoming and explained that it was appointments only for that day. I explained that I didn't have an appointment but was desperate. He managed to squeeze me in between 2 appointments and did an impeccable job cutting my hair, even though he was busy.. Ever since I have been going back as I know that Matt will always do an excellent job. He is welcoming, friendly, the shop is clean and takes pride in what he does. I use the booking app now and have never encountered any problem with it. If you want a top class cut done by a top class barber, make sure you come in and see Matt.

I've been going to Matts place for 7 years! The barbers there are awesome and truly top notch. I've now moved to the other side of Bristol and will still take two buses to get my hair cut there every 4-6 weeks.
