   2 weeks into the New Year I found myself facing redundancy and informed by my employer that I had to get legal advice to review the compromise agreement. Apart from buying a house I've never needed to use a solicitor before, how do you choose a solicitor? Luckily for me a friend had a faced a similar situation before Christmas and he connected me with Nina Francis of Wellers Law Group LLP. In our initial conversation I was immediately confident that Nina was that the right solicitor to help me - professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, incredibly easy to deal with - turned out to be one of the easiest and best decisions I've made. Throughout the process Nina in my opinion was excellent, turning a difficult personal situation into an outcome better than I thought possible. Looking back I see redundancy in a new light, it's one of the best things to happen in my career as the agreement Nina advised and negotiated has allowed me to look at wider opportunities, benefited me financially and now I am in a more fulfilling and rewarding role than at the start of 2024.
