I was visiting Bristol for a wedding and needed a last minute haircut. Andrew was able to sort me out and he did a great job. I didn’t realise that I accidentally left my jacket and AirPods in the shop, and he was very generous to post both the jacket and AirPods back to me in Dublin! Very sound lad who cares about the customer and who also knows how to cut hair to a quality standard. I’d advise anyone to waste no time looking around and head straight to Grades

So I went in today with only a basic idea of what I wanted, an even though I could see that the barber was unsure as to what to do, what he pulled off was better than what I had expected. Having lived in Bristol for 10 years, I have explored many hairdressers and barbers, Grades has become my regular haunt over the past few years. They have managed to balance traditional and contemporary styles, creating a fusion which works well for them. The setting itself is cosy and comfortable, it's easy to find with parking outside. The barbers offer a genuinely great service, courteous and professional yet friendly and at hand to offer style advice and how to approach a certain style. The prices are very reasonable and they offer student discounts during off peak times. I shall definitely be returning again.
I get my haircut every two weeks with the same barber. An elderly gentleman with glasses cuts and washes my hair to the same high standard every single time. Being busy or not the haircut is always perfect to how i want it and now being a frequent customer do not have to tell him what i want. I care more about the finished look and the quality of the service than the price. I have been to at least ten other barbers/hairdressers in the past that charge more and there is always more than one problem or they are unable to cut the hair how i want it. If you are someone that likes to maintain the same haircut and likes it short like me ( zero on the clippers back and sides ) i would highly recommend.
