We usually love this place but were extremely disappointed at the cherry and walnut fruit cake we bought last week. It was so dry that it collapsed into crumbs when being cut.

Bit pricey as you might imagine. But the quality speaks for itself. Especially the bakery. Like no other. Literally. Sure, there are some popular items that you may be able to source cheaper elsewhere. But you simply can't beat their pies and cakes etc. Making myself drool even thinking about it. Yum. Staff are usually very welcoming and pleasant also. Definitely worth a visit.

Very nice farm shop. Great selection of food and includes butchers, baking, olives and more. Large selection of local Gin, Beer and other items such as chocolate, tea, coffees, juices, fresh steak pies and local Scottish brands. Just be careful of the price. Some items are cheaper elsewhere.

Lovely wee shop to drop in for a visit and unusual items from unusual places. Didn't go into cafe this visit as very busy which makes it very noisy, which mum and me wouldn't find relaxing. Have added some photos of some of the lovely wares they sell.

We shopped here this morning for some Hopetoun beef olives, about which we hear great things. What a delightful shop. Easy to find and plentiful free parking. They have a wonderful selection of locally produced goods and we were served by the delightful Denise at the bakery counter and the very pleasant and helpful Gail at the butchery counter. You can’t imagine how delighted we were to discover Fisher and Donaldson pastries on sale. Any thoughts of a fresh attempt to diet have thus been dealt a heavy, heavy blow. C’est la vie, c’est le gâteau!

The customer service from the staff here is incredible. Friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the gin and other local produce they carry. The butcher's is a little bit more expensive than the supermarket but the quality is far superior, and the selection is fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting here to purchase some local produce and meat.
