   I would not use them . I tried a couple of years ago I was told I filled out forms incorrect. They emailed to try again recently. So tried again I put in the £10 deposit told not received. Checked bank they had it . Mistakes happen they put in wrong folder. Waited 4 weeks nothing. So I complained . Got reply basically it was royal mails fault . I asked for my money back . Got refund but also got my welcome package dated 4 weeks before they posted it . Envelope had day sent same date as refund.yes Mistake happen but I think my stuff was sitting on someone's desk an they forgot to post it . I did complain again an sent pictures but did not bother replying hence review.

   Not particularly happy, wanted to take some of my own money out for my sons birthday, requested it online before 12pm Friday, paid an extra fee for same day, its now Sunday and still haven't received it and they are closed till Wednesday! Their online services are shocking!

   I have been with The East Kilbride Credit Union for around ten years and I have always got good service. I have got a few loans in the past but now I just use it for a savings account. I have a standing order that goes in each month if I'm lucky enough not to need the money for any emergencies then I've built up a good amount for a rainy day fund. I use online banking with the Credit Union so I am control of my own savings.

   I’ve been a member of the credit union for quite a few years and I never needed them more than I did when my daughter died. I didn’t know how I was going to pay for the funeral until I asked for help from the credit union! They helped me give my daughter the best send off I could have given her. It helps that when you take a loan out and you don’t have to worry about having an extra monthly payment as it gets taken off my direct debit I already pay . Just means less goes into my shares. I would highly recommend everyone having a credit union.

   Wish I had read the reviews before opening an account. Pay a fee for the privilege of having your money in there account. Closed mine and put in my own bank which doesn't charge a fee

   Wouldn't recommend. They were excellent years ago when it was a proper credit union (15-20 years ago), but I'd describe them now as just an unfriendly bank. Happy to have closed my account.

   Unexpected bill for my car went in to withdraw £600 on a Friday lunchtime. Had never made a withdrawal before this was my first. I was questioned why garage could not wait till next week for payment!!Who cares I don't like debt so twas told couldn't have cash I would have to pay £3 for £600 of my hard earned savings to be put in my bank account b4 5 o'clock that day total rip off calculation to interest against savings makes you worse than any money lender. Should be ashamed of yourself I was that shocked I forgot to ask what I can lift same day without charge ???
