   unacceptable level of care provided. I have been in the mental health system since 12 years old, it was made explicitly clear to the adult services that I needed extensive and continuous support. This service has now dismissed me 4 times for no reason at all and failed me in every way. Dr Felix Kayue is a bad psychiatrist who does not listen to what his patients are actually saying, I was misdiagnosed and put on antipsychotics that I did not need and was left alone for over 6 months, which caused permanent visual and motor difficulties. He tried to prescribe me a beta blocker that could kill me as i’m asthmatic, and the GP was the one that had to correct this and prescribe me alternative medication that was safe for me. Office/admin CMH staff are utterly incompetent. They are outright rude in person, send out letters for appointments that don’t exist, fail to pass important messages on, show no respect or empathy to their patients, and are uncaring and unapologetic about their own failings. I wish Dr McShane still worked in adult services, she was a good psychiatrist and genuinely cared for her patients safety and well-being, unlike Dr Kayue. If I could afford private psychiatry, I would be going there instead of this inadequate, uncaring service.
