    Worst experience ever ! I was shouted at repeatedly and threatened to be dropped and left on a dark road . I am a young woman and because I didn’t feel comfortable providing the full fare upfront for the service despite me showing the driver the cash and allowing him to lock the doors he threatened to leave me and shouted at me whilst we were in the car driving down the motorway. He called one of his associates who said the decision was up to him and he insisted to take the money off me. I cannot believe what I have just experienced . For your own safety do not use this company .

    Excellent, efficient service when taking us to and collecting us from the airport. We were particularly impressed on our return on quite a late flight that the taxi driver called us as soon as our flight landed. When our baggage collection was delayed he waited patiently and still dropped us off home in good time.

    Dreadful service, as confirmed by their rating from other people here. 3 times they have let me down terribly. 1. No-one was there to meet me at Airport as pre-arranged, had to call them, then waited 40mins on a cold, wet winter morning on the roof of a car park, after a long haul flight while they woke a contract driver up who arrived with a clapped out old Prius full of his rubbish in his boot. 2. They simply had 'lost' 1 booking & I had to call for a Bolt. 3. Most recently, I asked for a vehicle to take a painting that wouldn't fit in my SUV. Gave them size of box. They promised they understood. They sent a car that was smaller than my SUV but the driver says it has 6 seats! And of course, it stank of cigarettes. Too often they do. They are cheaper, for a reason. Use Bolt and Zipcar.

    Why do I never learn! Had a few issues with Surbiton Cars for airport pick ups in the past but needed to get home quickly post flight so attempted to use them again. Booked for a pick up and provided flight details so even had an email with an earlier pick up time confirmation given flight was running early- great I thought! At the booked time at arrivals (not the earlier one) no one there. 10 minutes later give them a call and 'my driver is around the corner'. 20 minutes later I get a call to walk out to the premier inn to be picked up by a driver who lives locally and got an emergency call 10min ago to pick me up. What a debacle. Would have been quicker and cheaper to get an Uber.

    I just had the most awful experience with surbiton cars. We had called the office to arrange so that we could pay online, and they instructed us to wait for the office to call us back or email right after the service. Once the car arrived at destination, the driver had no clue that this was the arrangement and when i politely explained to him, he started being very rude and aggressive, shouting and even pushed my phone physically away. The office kept putting us on hold on the phone and the driver wouldn't move from our driveway (which he's not even supposed to park on). All I can say is rudeness and unacceptable behaviour all the way. The service itself was also bad: bad driving and smelly car! Stay well clear.

    Used these guys for airport drop off and pick up pre-covid with no problems. This year they were terrible. Booked an estate car. The driver refused to fold his back seats down to accommodate our luggage saying we should have ordered a people carrier. Also saying that putting luggage on a folded back seat would damage his car! After he unloaded the bags he had put on already, I had to call Surbiton Cars and after a long chat agreed to pay the driver an extra fiver although he wanted the people carrier rate and said the website said estates are for 6 people and 2 bags (which turned out not to be true). Also had to pack the bags on myself to prove to him they would all fit! On journey home despite our flight delay being on take-off driver negotiated for waiting time after he got to the airport too early. He also drove very aggressively the whole way home and had other stuff in his boot, again making it tricky to accommodate our luggage. He was on his phone (speaking or texting) a good chunk of the journey and seemed agitated – my partner did not feel safe or comfortable. Emailing the company about what estates were for they had to coned that website was not clear as they also had a 2 people 4 bag rate and nothing about not being able to fold the back seats down. They gave me my extra £5 back but that was not compensation for a stand up shouting matcvh with a driver who was about to leave us standard getting to the airport. In short, they have gone downhill massively and would avoid them like a barge pole.

    Do NOT use, extremely disappointing after being left stranded at Gatwick Airport with my 80 yr old disabled husband. No one turned up at arrivals, there was no communication with a meeting point - and Surbiton Cars actually emailed whilst we were on the flight with a 30 min earlier pick up time than arranged!!! We walked around and searched everywhere for over an hour, couldn't find the driver - and when we finally spoke to the office they told us that the driver had left but they would still charge us.... DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!! Absolutely fuming... they also claimed that the driver drove 71.6 miles one way to the airport, so they have to charge the mileage - yet it's 17 miles from their office to the airport. Never using them again, as I got charged for a service I never received.

    I booked a cab for my family and highlighted that 2 kids (2 and 4) were travelling and that I needed 1 car seat and a booster for them. The driver arrived with no car seat and no booster and he rejected to go to the office to collect the seats and then come back for my family. Instead he wanted my family to get on the car with the kids without the seats, then he lwft and said he wasn't coming back. I called the office and they put me on hold and gave me no solution. A complete parody, I had to book a different service with a different company.
